Nelson is going to get himself killed by a top level striker if he always just stands there like that

Would have liked to see Nelson with a bit more urgency in the third round. I have him winning but rounds 1 and 3 were close and I would not trust these judges given their prior scores tonight.

Lets see if the last two fights can save this God awful event. Nelson/Santiago was decent but I was expecting Nelson to be a lot more aggressive, especially when he had him hurt.

Rooting for Dustin here but I'm not sure his defense is good enough to withstand Swanson's wild aggression.

Nice judo throw by Cub to cap it off.

The fighter rankings being displayed next to their names looks weird.

These guys use no angles or footwork whatsoever. I don't see either of them giving Cruz a workout unless they can catch him with a knockout punch.
That is, assuming Cruz comes back with most of his mobility intact.

With Cruz's knee injuries he probably won't have movement anymore.

If that's the case, I'll be interested in seeing how much more he implements his wrestling, and if he can still be so surprising with his takedowns without the setup that comes from his movement.
McDonald is looking awful so far. Barao isn't looking that good either but he's definitely up after 3 rounds.

McDonald doesn't throw enough as if he's so sure he'll get the knockout every fight. I'm sure some of that is his age but I think it's more his team/corner, especially given their terrible advice after 2 rounds.

Wow, Barao basically transitioned straight into the choke, didn't have to set that up at all.
Hopefully McDonald learns from this, I like how scrappy he is.

Was a little too soon for Mayday to have this fight. He can win the belt in the future, but not yet.

Very impressive performance from Barao. Showed a lot of variety in his strikes and then just ran over McDonald on the ground. Good fight.
