I've been watching a lot of Kings games lately and Voynov has been the most noticeable player on the ice for the team. He looks much better on the PP than Doughty and he just seems to make very good plays offensively. I haven't been as keenly watching him on the defensive side of things, but I haven't noticed any glaring mistakes and he does have a +17 higher rating than Doughty (which I admit isn't a completely fair comparison due to Doughty logging more minutes against top competition). I personally like Kulikov better, but Voynov has impressed me more this season, so he gets my vote.
Interesting poll, haven't seen enough of Kulikov to make a judgement but I am very impressed with Voynov and his progression in the LA system. Not voting because of painful ignorance of Kulikov's play but will eagerly await and take into account others who have seen enough of both
Kulikov is a much stronger overall player. Don't be fooled by the fact that he plays in Florida and you dont here about him much. Voynov still has a ways to go, contrary to what some might say, particularly if you listen to the guy earlier giving him credit for single handedly winning LA a cup
I actually think people starting to notice Voynov's talent. Numerous times we have seen Kulikov-Orlov-Gontcharov-Voynov polls, for obvious reasons. Currently it's not a shame anymore to compare him with Kulikov.
