Chiene's hit on Gally was not only late, but after he already got hit. Super cheap. Ex-leaf and now Flyer...cheap cheap cheap. Meanwhile our D man who is second behind him in hits is clean as Will Smith's artistic efforts.

I'll give it a second look, but it didn't look like a dirty hit to me. Just plain old bad luck. The last thing we need is to stir up melodrama without reason. I will go look however...

Notice how he got hit twice. Also consider what the rule on roughing/interference is. (WRT once you get rid of the puck.)

edit:

Freeze it at 0:05 (or even better at 0:18). Briere has already taken the puck away and pushed him off balance. He is no threat whatsoever. Press play and see what happens.

May be construed as finishing a check, but he could have and should have let up/just pinned him. It's in Schenn's game though. That's how he racks up hits. Even when they don't need to be made/are dangerous.

looking at replays of the injuries it looks 100% like Gally gets his bell rung. not his shoulder. Concussion? not sure.

pacioretty's injury is a lot more vague. is it his shoulder? is he cut by a skate? hard to say

Nice to see the Habs close the show in the third even after a momentum shift. Activated D and 2 man forecheck and all.

Yeah it looks like he got his bell rung, I assumed he got a concussion. I don't think he got injured in that play, doesn't look like atleast.

As for Pacioretty, I assumed it a rib injury. We will find out tomorrow!

as for the game in general:
Very glad Budaj got the win, even if he wasn't 100% tested, it's good for his confidence and for the boys confidence on him as well.

Je ne veux pas être prophète de malheur, mais Brendan Gallagher a un historique de commotions cérébrales chez les juniors.

Judging by Therrien at the pc I think they kept Gally out for precautionary measures. He got his bells rung.

As for Max, it looked like a cut and they preferred keeping him out because the game was nearing the end.

Not worried. Therrien would have had looked much more distraught if it was the case.

Does anyone know for sure the state of the players that didn't finish the game? I'd like to go to bed knowing there are no serious injuries

Pacioretty wanted to keep playing but trainers made him go back. Doubt he misses any time.

Anyone have any pics of Budaj's mask?

Was that Han Solo on the side?
