Nope; just came up with that name a few years ago, and it's been my go-to alternate name on the internet. Last name is a variation of my real last name (Chinese people will get this).

Hoping Myron can be a PPQB.

Well, he was a finalist for it last year on that same crappy Sudbury team.

+/- is usually a ******** stat, but here its a nice piece of evidence that Corrado is a great possession player even when he's not racking up assists. Puck goes into the net more when Corrado is on the ice.

Love how the coach doesn't always do interviews in formal dress.

I do, however, like that he's not afraid to give our kids opportunity. Grenier was put in a scoring role almost right away when he stepped into the E, and had Mallet on the PP pretty early on IIRC. Now Myron's getting a chance there too, looking from the stats sheet. Seems like he has an eye for quickly recognizing guys who can play, so it's good to know at least. Gotta give credit to Bootland here.

Canucks scouted Tömmernes yesterday, having to sign him before next season to not lose his rights, well he was -4 and had a absolutely worthless game.

Or a coach who realizes that the Canucks pay his bills and if he wants a shot of moving up in the ranks he will play the guys they are interested in.

I agree. I feel that they are developing better playing for Kalamazoo than Wolves. Arniel gets his team wins but he doesn't bring out the best in young players. For a developmental team, that's a big negative.

Ouch. I'm sure the Canucks know about his body of work, though. Hopefully they can bring him over to NA next year.

Also, nice to see Gaunce net the hatty last night.

Pretty sure it's the K-zoo owners who pay his salary actually as they're only an affiliate and he's not someone the Nucks hired.

If he develops into even an NHL bottom 6 role player then the pick was a huge success.

K-Wings coach has praised his smarts in that regard, so that's encouraging to hear.

I really like this system that Gillis has employed for prospect development. He wants to make sure each player is extra ripe at each level. If Grenier, Mallet, and Myron continue this pace, they should all be on the Wolves next season.

perhaps it won't be the Wolves since the contract is up, but the team next year would be a lot of talent wit skill and tougness if all three joins the team......at least two of them should make it......I am expecting Mallet and Myron to sign ELC at the end of the year

Heres a list put out recently for WCHA+CCHA: http://www.westerncollegehockeyblog....-the-ccha-wcha

Another guy on that list is Shayne Taker, whom we had at Prospects camp. A Vancouver boy, a big defensive defenseman who can play physical. Something we are missing from our defense group, so he also could be a target they are looking at.

EDIT: Another prospect camp invitee that could be a target is Jeremy Langlois. If the game Gillis was rumoured to be at, it was Yale Vs Quinnipiac (Feb 2) so he would have seen Langlois as well. Quinnipiac is the top team in ECAC this year and a big part of it is because of Langlois, leading the team in points, goals and assists, and a 3rd best +/-. He started with roller hockey, started on the wing but the coach recognized how smart he was and moved him to center in the past 3 years. His coach states that he is the best defensive forward he has ever coached. He is known for a high compete level and good work ethic on the ice.
Cool, thanks for the link.
