I've been following him since he got draft in 2010. I remember last year he was the last player to be sent to the minors during the preseason games and when he was on the ice I always said: Look it's Brendan Gallagher! =) I was surprised that the habs kept him in the NHL but I was so happy at the same time! ...I hope that he will be okay after Schen's body check because he totally didn't see it coming.
The prospects that I follow now are Patrick Holland and Tim Bozon. Holland doesn't have a good season this year but he possesses good stick handling skills and can enter the offensive zone with a lot of speed too. Bozon I just like his stats but I don't know anything about him =). (GP:57 G:32 A: 43 Pts:75)
I see a 15-20 goal per season on average. He is looking great now but i see his goals coming in spurts. As well as once he starts putting up good numbers teams will be watching for him more. If he hits 20 goals on average and a great year of 25-30, that would be amazing.
Gionta with more truculence and less pure hockey (skating, shooting) talent...
Doubt he ever tops gionta's best year (84pts), but could see him average similar #'s for his career.
Hope I'm underestimating him!

I agree with everything Miller Time wrote.
As for Recchi, his “annoying pit-bull with a big mouth” attitude (that’s a good thing btw!) is more similar but the guy was a great playmaking winger and he had a much better vision than Gallagher. He also was an iron man...
That said, I agree with Whitesnake: Gallagher needs to learn how to protect himself.
The Bulldogs are not an interesting team to watch but Gallagher and Bournival were two of my favourite prospects during the lockout so it’s good to see Gallagher thrives in the NHL.
gritty/more heart/feisty Samsonov (when he was a Bruin).
Poor man Theo Fleury. Classier version of Marchand.
Love Gallagher's feisty style/heart/hustle....
(his style was made for the playoffs... I just want him to be more careful out there...watch those blind spots...every Hab player can learn a lot abou this from Subban...the best Hab at protecting himself intelligently).
