Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Home Insecurity? Is the MTS Centre losing its magic? Has the shine worn off of the Jets?

Winnipeg Sun: Miettinen back on ice with Jets. The surprise of Saturday’s skate at the IcePlex was seeing Miettinen wearing a regular practice jersey and skating with the rest of the Jets team. While he still needs a few practices under his belt before he is game ready, it appears he thinks that he will be back on the ice during the upcoming Jets road trip.

Winnipeg Sun: Keep missing target. You cannot score a goal if you miss the net and the Jets have missed too many opportunities to get the puck on net. Who knows what sort of scoring chances they could generate if they just got the puck at the opposition net minder.

Winnipeg Sun: Blue-lines will have to soldier on without Enstrom. Coach Noel said Tobias would be having an MRI on the injury yesterday so we should have a better idea as to the length of time he will be out at some point today.

Illegal Curve: Coach Noel audio from the IcePlex. Enstrom shoulder issue. Requires an MRI. Who will he pair with Buff? Is his team doing the right things? What are some things his team needs to do better? Getting more power play opportunities. Is Miettinen ready? Handling a ‘heavy’ team. Missing too many shots? Teams playing more defensively.

Illegal Curve: Player audio from the IcePlex. Dustin Byfuglien, Zach Bogosian, Chris Thorburn and Antti Miettinen.

Jets affiliate and prospect news:

The Union Leader: IceCaps come back to top Monarchs. St. John’s scored four unanswered goals to beat Manchester and end a five game losing streak.

Barrie Colts official site: Colts blank Steelheads 3-0. Jets prospect Mark Scheifele picked up two assists in the win, including his 200th OHL point in his 148th game.

Jets opposition (Boston Bruins) news:

Boston Herald: B’s seek finishing flourish. The Bruins are 8-2-2 on the season and will be looking for blood after a tough loss to the Sabres on Friday.

Boston Herald: Milan Lucic out for personal issue. Fans were reporting that Lucic was heading back out of town after the Bruins arrived Saturday afternoon. Hopefully all is well for his family.

Monday Papers

Monday, February 11th Jets and NHL news

Jets news:

Coach Noel - Updates on Dustin Byfuglien and Zach Bogosian. Goalie decision for Tuesday? Health of Pavelec. What does he need to see with Bogosian before he is ready to go? Who might come out? Where has the team missed Byfuglien the most? How Buff helps Enstrom. Team focus on Enstrom sans Buff. Wellwood talk. How indicative are Blake Wheeler’s stats on his level of play? Montoya’s work ethic. How satisfied is he with the line adjustments?

To listen click here.

Winnipeg Free Press: Byfuglien predicts he’ll play vs. Flyers. He was in fine form when he spoke with the media today. Joked that his lower body injury was in fact wax build up in his ear. What isn’t a joke is the need for the Jets to have him back and healthy in the lineup.

Winnipeg Free Press: Monu-freaking mental. The mood around the MTS on Sunday was definitely lighter. While they haven’t counted themselves as giant slayers a tight road win does a lot for the team confidence.

Winnipeg Sun: Coach Noel won’t reveal starting goalie for Tuesday’s game. Do we have a goalie controversy brewing in Winnipeg? After a solid start by Montoya and Pavelec who is still recovering from the flu, it would appear that coach Noel doesn’t need to find himself an Alain Vigneault coin just yet.

Winnipeg Sun: Hainsey logging major ice time. He has had to step up in the absence of Dustin Byfuglien and Zach Bogoian and he has done so for his coach.

Winnipeg Sun: Kane embraces new role on penalty kill. When asked about it Kane said it was a role he played when he first came into the league and one he is not afraid to handle now. When asked about using Kane on the PK, coach Noel revealed that the addition of speed to the penalty kill gave his team and advantage.

Illegal Curve: Coach Noel post optional skate presser. Talks about Byfuglien practicing with the team. Talk turns to Bogosian. Buff expects to play on Tuesday. Discusses importance of win over Senators. Getting past adversity. Kane and Burmistrov embracing the role of penalty killers. Importance of adding speed to PK. Possibly using Montoya in net on Tuesday. Would he flip a coin similar to Alain Vigneault? (joking) Expanded role of Ron Hainsey.

Illegal Curve: Jets audio from the MTS Centre. Dustin Byfuglien and Evander Kane. While all our audio is must listen to (of course) the Big Buff clip is really good. He was in fine form as he cracked 3 jokes during the scrum.

NHL news:

NHL.com: Who should be patient and who should panic? Of the 5 teams that are seen as contenders, just the Capitals and Kings are ones who should be hitting the panic button says Dan Rosen.

Globe and Mail: Lack of stiff opening round opposition a double edged sword for Canada in Sochi. Which would you prefer to see Team Canada take part in? A ‘group of death’ made up of extremely difficult competition which will force Team Canada to become toughened early. Or an easier path to the medal round, where they will be able to moderately test themselves as they prepare for the tougher competition?

Globe and Mail: NHL and IOC in Olympic stand-off. Dealing with the Olympics, working on realignment and finishing off the CBA. It is going to be quite the week in New York.

Chicago Sun-Times: Blackhawks hope to continue road momentum during homestand. Another win on the road, this time in Nashville, and the Hawks remain the only team unbeaten in regulation.

Tuesday Papers

Tuesday, February 12th Jets and NHL news

Note: Stay tuned to IC for all the post-game audio from coach Noel, the Jets/Flyers dressing rooms and our post-game podcast from the pressbox.

Note II: Make sure to @ tweet the @illegalcurve twitter with your guess in our contests. During tonight’s game you can win IC Gear by participating in our twitter 50/50 and Game Winning Goal contests. Remember that for your vote to qualify you must send in your guess by hashtaging (#) our 50/50 contest or the Game Winning Goal (GWG) contest. (i.e. #IC5050 $41,250 or #ICGWG Wheeler)

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Postma most likely candidate for trade. With the imminent return of Byfuglien and probable return of Bogosian, a couple of the Jets defenceman are about to find themselves on the outside looking in. As Robin Short said to us on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show back in December, and based on what we have seen so far this season, it looks like Redmond has secured his spot as either the sixth or seventh defenceman on this team. Of course with Postma on a one-way contract, this doesn’t leave the Jets with as many options. If you had to choose between Clitsome, Postma and Redmond, who would you take?

Winnipeg Free Press: Now they need Zach back. Coach Noel has to be brimming with excitement at the possibility of finally having his full defensive group together since last April.

Winnipeg Free Press: Goalies keeping it clean. Healthy competition isn’t a bad thing. It can force a goalie away from complacency and ensure he brings his A game knowing that his backup can take his spot at any time should he falter.

Winnipeg Free Press: Realignment agreement expected soon. This could all be so simple if the Red Wings were willing to stay in the West. Add in the uncertainty around the Phoenix Coyotes and you have the present mess. One thing we do know is this has to be the Jets last season in the Eastern Conference.

Winnipeg Sun: Boring hockey is best bet for Winnipeg Jets. As cliche as it is to say the season is more of a marathon (even though it is lockout shortened) than a sprint. The Jets lulling the Sens to sleep was just what this team needed to do to pull off a road win. They will have a tall task as they take on an ornery Flyers team who lost last night in Toronto.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets should ride the hot hand of Al Montoya. Cue the controversy? Nah, just some good old fashioned competition. And with Pavelec just getting over the flu it might be a good idea to see what Montoya can do following his shutout on Saturday. This would be his first back-to-back action since April 5th and 7th, 2012 when he faced off against the Jets & Blue Jackets.

Winnipeg Sun: Blake Wheeler spinning wheels over league-worst plus minus. He has only been a minus player once in his career (2009-10 with the Bruins) and since then has been a positive player until this season. While he is deep in the hole, it isn’t a number that will be impossible to overcome.

Winnipeg Sun: Ondrej Pavelec relieved to be feeling better, ready to play. He has spoken about his game quite candidly and the Jets will need to see improvement in their number one netminder if they hope to compete in a tough Eastern Conference. The article also references Kyle Wellwood turning the corner and Sean Couturier is suffering from the flu.

Winnipeg Sun: All signs point to Byfuglien, but return of Pavelec, Bogosian against Philadelphia Flyers unclear. Buff was showing all the right stuff Monday at practice and looks like he will be ready to play tonight. And this couldn’t be soon enough as the Jets need to get this three game homestand kicked off on the right foot.

Illegal Curve: Coach Noel audio. Updates on Dustin Byfuglien and Zach Bogosian. Getting team numbers out of basement of the league. Thoughts on the upcoming Flyers game.

Illegal Curve: Players audio. Pavelec, Montoya, Stuart and Bogosian.

Jets opponent (Philadelphia Flyers) news:

Delaware County Times: James van Riemsdyk, Maple Leafs extend Flyers’ travel woes. The Jets next opponent comes in licking their wounds and will face a well rested Jets squad tonight at the MTS Centre.

NHL news:

Arizona Republic: Coyotes drawing interest from bidders. In the words of Jerry Seinfeld "oh ya, this is going to end well!".

Globe and Mail: Captain Serious learns to lighten up. Eric Duhatschek with an in-depth look at the Winnipeg native.

Globe and Mail: Leafs big win has Burke’s handprints all over it. Burke will take little solace knowing he helped build the team that is knocking off win after win right now.

CBC: ACC atmosphere could be key to Leafs’ fortunes. Many in Winnipeg would suggest that atmosphere can have a major impact on the game.

Wednesday Papers

Wednesday, February 13th Jets and NHL news

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets recall goaltender Eddie Pasquale from the St. John's IceCaps. We will have a better idea of the injury on Thursday when coach Noel addresses the media (today there is no availability). And by a better idea I mean we will be told it is a lower body injury.

Winnipeg Free Press: Talented Wheeler needs to step it up. While he continues to get points he is not dominating games the way many expect he can. Jets need Wheelers to take it to the next level if they want to compete.

Winnipeg Free Press: Down day at the Jets office. The Jets need to get into a winning grove as they simply cannot win, lose, win, lose if they hope to make a playoff run.

TSN: Struggle to find scoring. Go down the list and the Jets forwards are for the most part having very ordinary seasons. Wellwood, Antropov, Ponikarovsky, Jokinen and Burmistrov all have under 4 points in 12 games. Simply not acceptable.

Winnipeg Sun: Pavelec needs to regroup for Penguins … and he’s not the only one. In a condensed season you cannot afford to dwell on a loss for long. The Jets have the day off tomorrow but you can bet that coach Noel and company will be watching tape to prevent a replay of last night’s game on Friday against Pittsburgh.

Winnipeg Sun: Anthony Peluso goes in with a bang; Jets coach Claude Noel not so impressed. A curious decision by coach Noel to pull Thorburn in favour of Peluso. Despite it being his Winnipeg debut, after four minutes of penalties early in the game, he was not out on the ice for the remainder of the game.

Winnipeg Sun: Showing no firepower through first quarter of season. Scoring is not something this team has done so far this season. In fact, in the last seven games the Jets have not scored more than three goals in a game.

Winnipeg Sun: Snapshots – That’s how it is with the Jets. The life of an enforcer. Plethora of defencemen. Kane’s scoring problem. And much more.

CBC: 5 points to ponder as Jets hit quarter-mark of season. Five things to consider as this season is twenty-five percent of the way complete.

Hockey’s Future: Organization reaping benefits from 2008 NHL Draft. Bogosian and Redmond are the cream of the crop of that Thrashers draft class.

For the Jets and NHL news click here.

Jets on a Deadline – Philadelphia 3 Jets 2:

Winnipeg Jets: Ondrej Pavelec, Evander Kane, Kyle Wellwood and Bryan Little.

Philadelphia Flyers: Coach Laviolette, Claude Giroux, Ilya Bryzgalov and Jakub Voracek.

Illegal Curve Post-game podcast from the Press box: Host Drew Mindell and Analyst Richard Pollock break down the Jets play against the Flyers.

Thursday Papers

Thursday, February 14th Jets and NHL news

Note: Stick to @illegalcurve as we will be at the MTS Centre to get all the latest reaction from practice after a day off on Wednesday. And of course this is the day a ton of Jets news happens. Quick recap: Jets trade for Eric Tangradi from Penguins, Alexei Ponikarovsky traded to Devils, Edward Pasquale called up from IceCaps and a snippet from an article to be released about Evander Kane suggests racism behind some of the criticism.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: Slumps – a curious malady. Seven games into a goalless streak, Kane looked more to form against the Flyers on Tuesday, registering six shots and getting some better looks. His last goal came against the Islanders back on January 27th, when he sent the 15,004 MTS Centre fans home happy with an game winning goal in OT.

Winnipeg Free Press: Winnipeg no longer saddled with Poni. Alexei “I had a Pony” Ponikarovsky we hardly knew ye. A brief 12 game stint with the Jets yields a couple of draft picks.

Winnipeg Free Press: Tangradi sizeable acquisition, could make impact. The Pens let him go for a song and that has to give you pause as you would think they have done their homework on Tangradi who they drafted 42nd overall back in 2007. Was it simply a result of too difficult a lineup to crack or had the Pittsburgh organization seen enough?

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets in see-saw battle. If the Jets want to sniff the playoffs, simply winning, losing, then winning and losing is no longer acceptable. Hovering around the .500 mark won’t be enough to get this team out of a playoff slump that has seen just one appearance in over a dozen years of existence dating back to the Atlanta Thrashers debut back in 1999-2000.

Winnipeg Sun: In need of a heart transplant. Changing team culture will not happen overnight and similarly you cannot expect the Jets to get rid of all their bad tendencies because they wish it was so. It takes hard work and coach Noel and company are going to have to continue to try and change things in the club house.

Winnipeg Sun: Evander Kane says racism fuels some of his critics. Probably best to wait until the March 4th publication of The Hockey News comes out before commenting on a few paragraphs released in advance to create interest.

Illegal Curve: Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff teleconference. Details of the deal as well as audio from Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff who gives his thoughts on the deal.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets pick up Tangradi from Pittsburgh. Article includes a scouting report on the Jets newest acquisition.

Jets affiliate and prospect news:

Ottawa Citizen: Colts’ Scheifele flies like Golden Jet against 67’s. Don’t look now Jets fans but Scheifele dominated against Ottawa last night. He finished the night with three goals and three assists for six points on the night.

NHL news:

Globe and Mail: Stakeholders set for meeting on NHL participation in Sochi Olympics. After head of the IIHF, Rene Fasel made the ego comments the other day, it will be interesting to see what sort of reception he receives in New York today.

Globe and Mail: Familiar names resurface as Coyotes fiasco drags on. The names stay the same (Anthony LeBlanc of Ice Edge and Matthew Hulsizer) but so does the reality which is that neither is capable of getting this deal done. How fans in Phoenix can continue putting up with this farce shows a dedication for those that attend games at Jobing.com Arena or watch the Coyotes games on television. For all the negativity that the situation receives (and deserves), those fans who support the team should be commended considering the mess they have had to deal with for the last four years.

Columbus Dispatch: Blue Jackets have a new general manager, Jarmo Kekalainen. He will be the first European General Manager of an NHL club and he will have quite a tall task getting this Blue Jackets squad turned around. Luckily for him he will have a number of high draft picks in the upcoming entry draft.

For the Jets and NHL news click here.

NHL Mid-Week with Illegal Curve replay:

NHL Mid-Week: Evander Kane’s comments in an upcoming issue of The Hockey News. Interview with Matt Laughlin of WFAN (re; Devils). Proposed NHL Realignment. Break it Down – St. Louis Blues Power Play. Columbus Fires Scott Howson, names Jarmo Kekalainen as his replacement. Breaking News: Winnipeg Jets Alexei Ponikarovsky to the New Jersey Devils. Prospect Pulse: Philadelphia Flyers with IC Scouting Correspondent Kyle Kosior. Winnipeg Jets GM Kevin Cheveldayoff conference call, Keep Your Eye On.

Thursday Afternoon Papers

Thursday Afternoon, February 14th Jets and NHL news

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Don Cherry says Evander Kane claims are ridiculous. Cherry has had Kane’s back but now feels the Jets young power forward needs to grow up. What do you think?

Winnipeg Free Press: Noel says more ‘A’ games needed from players. The beauty of Claude Noel is he isn’t afraid to speak in plain terms and he stated today in pretty clear language that he expects improvement in this team. He feels like he can win with this squad but it will require a better collective effort.

Winnipeg Sun: Bogo a game time decision. Coach Noel knows that it won’t be easy to just ease him back into the lineup. Bogosian hasn’t played a competitive game since the Jets 2011-12 season ended and he will be full throttle when/if he gets the call against the Penguins.

Jets official site: CBC 60th Anniversary – Don Cherry look-a-like contest. The Contest began yesterday and ends this Friday at Noon. To enter visit the Winnipeg Jets Official Facebook Page and post your best Don Cherry Look-a-like photo on the wall. The winner receives two lower bowl tickets to the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday night and a bunch of other prizes.

Illegal Curve: Player audio from the MTS Centre. Zach Bogosian addressed his recovery from injury and his eagerness to get back into the lineup. New call-up Eddie Pasquale spoke about getting ‘the call’, excitement at being in the NHL and his game.

Friday 'Game Day' Papers (Tangradi meets media this AM)

Friday Game Day Papers, February 15th Jets and NHL news

Note: Make sure to @ tweet @illegalcurve with your guess in our contests. During tonight’s game you can win IC Gear by participating in our twitter 50/50 and Game Winning Goal contests. Remember that for your vote to qualify you must send in your guess by hashtaging (#) our 50/50 contest or the Game Winning Goal (GWG) contest. (i.e. #IC5050 $39,750 or #ICGWG Slater).

Note II: Tune into the Illegal Curve Hockey Show on TSN Radio 1290 as the guys discuss all the latest Winnipeg Jets and NHL news from noon to 3 pm on Saturday. Guests: Mike Harrington (Buffalo News) and Jack Edwards (Play by Play voice of the Bruins for NESN).

Jets news:

Pittsburgh Tribune: Morning skate. The media swarms the newest Jets and you can watch his first chat with the local media.

Winnipeg Free Press: It’s not a black or white town. Being forced to talk about racism, which remains alive and well in the year 2013, is not a bad thing. But it was important to clarify that this was being done via social media, which is a problem which exists in cities across North America, where the anonymity of the internet allows people to say and do things they would never (one would hope) do publicly.

Winnipeg Free Press: Evander doesn’t mind the criticism. When you are making five million+ dollars per season, you had best be able to handle the attention fans are going to focus on you. But Evander is 100% correct that this criticism should be be about hockey. As he said yesterday, if he does something off ice that draws fans ire then he is willing to accept that criticism as well, but fans should never make it about race.

Winnipeg Free Press: It’s time to make the cut. Talk is cheap as the saying goes and it is time for players on this team to stop talking about bettering their performance and actually put these words into action. You can tell from coach Noel’s pressers that while he would like his team to win every game, he will be satisfied if he sees 100% effort from his players.

The Hockey Writers: Waivers, sunk costs and the Penguins. An interesting article from good friend to the IC Hockey Show, Mike Colligan who gives an interesting perspective on waivers from a Pittsburgh point of view. For those uninterested in the business of hockey there is also an excellent assessment (from the Penguins view) of Winnipeg’s newest addition, Eric Tangradi.

Winnipeg Sun: Claude Noel not happy with his Winnipeg Jets at quarter-pole. There would probably be something very wrong if coach Noel was satisfied with his troops at this point in the season. The team is currently in 11th but are also tied for 15th and are just four points out of 8th.

Winnipeg Sun: ‘Winnipeg is a fishbowl’ says Evander Kane. He isn’t wrong. Just one quarter of the way into the second season of the return of the NHL to the city, people are still extremely interested in all things Jets. When you consider the amount of money that fans in Manitoba are pouring into the game, I don’t really think that a little extra attention is too onerous on Kane. He should probably be thinking about that when he says that people in New York “have bigger things to talk about”, which clearly intimates that folks in Winnipeg do not.

Winnipeg Sun: Don Cherry says Evander Kane’s race claim is ridiculous. The outspoken one will be in Winnipeg tonight and he got involved in the controversy that blew through the city yesterday.

Winnipeg Sun: Problems start in goal says Don Cherry. The problem cannot be simply laid at the feet of Ondrej Pavelec. The entire team needs to collectively improve.

Winnipeg Sun: Eddie Pasquale ready to step in for Winnipeg Jets if need be. The Jets defence knows Pasquale well and has a lot of confidence in the young netminder. Pasquale embraced the opportunity, including the inevitable media swarm that surrounds anyone new to the room.

Illegal Curve: Coach Noel post-practice presser. Andrew Ladd had a maintenance day. Zach Bogosian will be a game time decision but looks ready to go. Montoya is probably week-to-week. Miettinen remains week-to-week. Tangradi addition. What would keep him from putting Bogosian into the lineup? If he plays, what would he expect? Talk about Pasquale. Evander Kane talk regarding The Hockey News article. Where does his team stand at the 1/4 pole of the season? Having patience. Striving for success. Playing the right way.

Illegal Curve: Player audio from the MTS Centre. Eddie Pasquale and Zach Bogosian.

Illegal Curve: Evander Kane address the racism claims made in The Hockey News article. Evander Kane addressed the media following the furor that resulted after the release of snippets of his The Hockey News interview in which it was asserted that the colour of his skin causes a fair degree of the criticism he has faced.

Jets opposition (Pittsburgh Penguins) news:

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: Top pick in 2010 for Pens could play tonight. Quite the promotion to go from the AHL to potentially being the left winger on a line that features Malkin and Neal.

Pittsburgh Tribune: Bylsma proves he has staying power. He already has quite the history in just his fourth season as the Penguins bench boss.

NHL news:

Washington Post: Eric Fehr scores twice as Capitals win third straight. The Winkler product looks like he used the lockout time off to continue his recovery and it has paid dividends. He has already scored more goals (3) in 11 games with the Capitals this season than he did(2) in 35 games with the Jets.

Globe and Mail: Black cloud hangs over Senators after loss of Karlsson for the year. The talk in the Jets dressing room yesterday was about Kevlar socks and the possibly mandating of them. Jets defenceman Ron Hainsey spoke about adding Kevlar socks to a players wardrobe.

CBC: Molson Coors says lockout did permanent damage. Less hockey meant less beer was consumed. Not shocking.

Illegal Curve: Coach Claude Noel pre-game press conference. Penguins talk. Switching up lines with hope to get guys going. Having a healthy defence corps for the first time this season. Has Burmistrov made an impact and what changes has he seen? Developing consistency in a shortened season. Team physicality. Describes the game he would like his team to play. Will they monitor Bogosian? Will the Jets respect of Pens get the team ready to play?

Saturday Papers

Saturday Papers, February 15th Jets news

Note: Tune into the Illegal Curve Hockey Show on TSN Radio 1290 as the guys discuss all the latest Winnipeg Jets and NHL news from noon to 3 pm today. Guests: Mike Harrington (Buffalo News) and Jack Edwards (Play by Play voice of the Bruins for NESN).

Jets news:

Winnipeg Free Press: It was Pens vs. pencils. The Jets were certainly given their chances to win and they could have had a much different fate. The 1st star of the game was the difference but the Jets had many good opportunities to get back into the game.

Winnipeg Free Press: If at first you don’t succeed, get worse. It has been argued in Calgary for what seems like the last five years, should you blow up the team and rebuild or continue to try and make the existing pieces work? They did it in Edmonton and expectations are within a year or two the Oilers will be formidable. However it is always difficult to get a fan base to buy into the notion that you will not be competitive for a few years. Especially when fans are paying some of the most expensive ticket prices in the game.

Winnipeg Free Press: New guy Tangradi catches Noel’s attention in Jets debut. Tangradi was asked to go up against his former team mates of just a few days earlier and he looked pretty solid. He played just under 13 minutes and had a number of decent scoring chances as well as a bunch of solid bodychecks.

Winnipeg Free Press: Spotlight on Zach Bogosian.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets left heart on the ice against Pittsburgh says Coach Noel. As I said yesterday, fans will never be happy with a loss but if the team losses but puts forth an honest, hard-working effort then they will certainly be a lot more understanding. While the Jets were unable to put more than one past Marc-Andre Fleury, the team collectively played well. If not for the 5 on 3 who knows how this game may have gone.

Winnipeg Sun: Jets have lost home ice magic. Have visiting teams figured out a way to block out the 15,004 rambunctious fans at the MTS Centre? The Redmond penalty was the back breaker and one many were surprised was called.

TSN: Lack of scoring costs Jets again in loss to Penguins. Winnipeg has not scored more than three goals since January 27th when they put five past the Islanders.

Winnipeg Free Press: Fan fooled by scam on Kijiji. This is why the Jets would advocate fans to use the system they have set up so you can legitimately buy tickets without concern of being ripped off.
