How would our top 6 be if Emelin misses some games? Would you agree with this:

Markov - Subban
Gorges - Diaz
Bouillon - Kaberle

or

Markov - Gorges
Bouillon - Diaz
Kaberle - Subban

Big two points for the boys last night. Buds played great deserved the W. feelin better by the hour!

And the Pacioretty injury sounds scary, no? Deep cut in your rib area? Yikes.

kaberle would be my bet, just because the team is winning. I think weber is moved in the next couple weeks, the guy deserves a chance but he is falling quickly down the habs depth chart and can play in the nhl.

I wish Tinordi got a chance but that's a slap in the face to kaberle. Tinordi would be my next choice, though.

if both pacioretty and gallagher are out, who gets called up?

even though leblanc is not having his best year, i would give him a go with limited minutes.

bourque pleks gionta
prust agally cole
moen dd leblanc
white eller armstrong

boy that's ugly.

Considering MP, BG and CA will be out for next game

Bourque - Plekanec - Gionta
Eller - Desharnais - Cole
Prust - Galchenyuk - Leblanc
Moen - White - Blunden

This is time to give Eller a shot on the Top-6 AND on LW (he's just better at LW than at RW).

NOTHING has been determined yet.

And I'd rather play with 7 D's than call-up Blunden. We have several forwards who can play more than they are right now. Especially with how bad the PP has been recently, they can certainly use Weber or Kaberle on it.

You have a point.
However, if 3 forwards are out, at least one forward will have to be called up.

Gally and Paciorettys injuries didn't look serious at ALL. Look for them to be back very soon maybe Tuesday.

Don't be concerned

am I the only one who likes eller as a bottom 6 guy? would love to see him on a line with a couple hard working wingers.

bourque pleks gionta
pacioretty agally bgally
prust eller leblanc
moen-dd- cole

i want to see leblanc on the third line, playing with eller. believe leblanc is the type of winger to help eller's game.

I would go with those matchups. Kaberle didn't play that bad with Frankie.

If anything, Gally's injury is source of concern.

The deep cut must feel sorry for itself this morning. Wouldn't be surprised if it went away after realizing it attacked the Wolverine.

Don't know why people are grouping Emelin in with the injured. He skated out with the group to congratulate Budaj. I don't think he'd do that if he was hurt.

1st set-up for sure.

Bouillon and Kabs have a little familiarity. They weren't THAT bad together either, and with Bouillon's less ice-time lately, they'd probably look better.

If there is a forward who's going to be called up, its going to be Bournival in my opinion.

Do you remember somebody called Darcy Tucker? That's who Ryan White most resembles, and Tucks had a pretty decently long career, despite his size and lack of skating speed. The physical toll on his body eventually showed up but by that time he had a solid career. The only difference is Tucker had enough skill and scoring ability to at times land him on the top two lines consistently.

Gallagher doesn't seem to be an instigator like Tucker.

Emelin and Pacioretty both at practice. Same for Armstrong.
No Gallagher yet.

Price and Subban are also absent. Subban has flu-like symptoms. Hope it's not the same as Price.
Bourque apparently not at practice either.

Bonne nouvelle: Pacioretty et Emelin sont à l'entraînement. Moins bonne nouvelle: Gallagher n'y est pas. Price et Subban sont aussi absents.

Of course Armstrong would be fine.
