Ain't even mad
Exactly right....where is the motivation, on the back of a win in front of your home crowd and we start like theat. Awful.

Yeah, screw them for promoting the best player in the world.

They ran a Miller video package after the first too, no one *****ed about that.

Our next 5 games

Jets
@ Leafs
Islanders
@ Lightning
@ Panthers

Then it gets a lot harder

If we don't at least go 3-2 these next 5 games I think our chances are toast, maybe even 4-1

Gerbe on the power play
That was Pominville's worst game that I can remember from him in a long time. I would say it was his worst since he became captain. Absolutely horrendous.
Another wasted Miller performance
Ehrhoff not being on the first power play unit outside of the 5 on 3. At this point, I'd be playing him the full 2 minutes out there, he's been great back there and the other point men have been average at best.
if this is the case, we ought to just put him on waivers now

He's been inconsistent his entire career. The great save on Neal AND the down and out of position on the game-winner are both classic Miller.

Sorry, I can't put Hodgson in this category. His first shift turnover was brutal, and he's been doing this stuff all year.

Why didn't they interview the Penguin that had 2 goals and an assist?

That shot should have never happened in the first place. It was a terrible series by all of the forwards on the ice, especially Ennis.

Yet if Ennis had Hodgson's game today, you'd be praising his offense.

G: Effort through two periods

B: Typical lackadaisical third period play and mistakes. Can any Buffalo Sabre's player shoot a puck on net from the points? Any?

U: Another Miller goal given up from the point as time is winding down.

Ehrhoff tries. Countless times im screaming shoot shoot shoot especially on the powerplay. More shots equals more goals, pretty simple really.

I wasn't blaming him, just saying it's frustrating that these things always seem to happen.

On the other hand, I don't know if it's because of his tendency to go down early or what, but he does seem to let in more shots from the point than many other goalies. It could just be selective memory on my part, as well.

Bad
Hodgson on the first goal. Tossed aside by well known power forward Pascal Dupuis then loses coverage.

Ugly

Pommer defensively. Just plain bad decisions with the puck. On the game tying goal he could have cleared the puck a few times before the final turnover that kept the puck in.

Sulzer can't play defense.
