I don't know if those shot totals should actually be believed. I watched a full powerplay earlier and they had maybe 2-3 actual shots on goal, but the stat sheet or official count or whatever went up by five or six. I don't want to discount them or anything, but ehhh.

I wish the Wild could make an amazing comeback like that someday.

And to think we lost against the Avalanche. Depressing.

That was a fun one to watch. Joe Sacco was one angry coach at his presser.

Ottawa fans are becoming a bit unrealistic. I mean really, the logic behind their arguments?

"Oh my God! We lost Spezza and Karlsson! Our season is lost! We'll be terrible!"

"Well, we lost Koivu, Bouchard, Setoguchi, Spurgeon, Zidlicky, Scandella...And still managed to keep from being the worst team in the NHL. Plus, other fans were saying that more teams had more injuries and it wasn't an excuse."

"But those guys don't have the impact to your team like Spezza and Karlsson have to the Senators."

Oh wow. In the Kings/Hawks game Seabrook just took a one-timer slapshot right to (what looked like) the nuts from ~5 feet away. On the ground in crippling pain.

Looks like they won't lose today.
