He's dirty on NHL 13 too! He had 63 goals for me (I simulated the whole season) in 1 season. He has got 99 in wristshot pwr and accuracy same for the slapper , realistic, I know... . I thought I'd share with you guys what's in store for Drouin since I obviously know the future

Edit: He also had like 5 straight 100 pt seasons (I simulate a lot when I'm bored)

Mackinnon and Drouin and Barkov are all very different. It'll really depend on what type of player the team picking needs.

Yes... The one time selecting a dmen might be the "safe" pick and not be an uproar when looking back in hindsight

He went end to end a lot in AAA. He's electrifying to say the least.

After playing Friday night and Saturay night, The Mooseheads have a Sunday afternoon game. After the 1st, 2-1 Halifax...Drouin with 2 assists. He now has a 20 game point streak. Last time he was shutout was November 25th...almost 3 months ago!

The guy is almost at the top of the league in points while playing roughly 15+ less games.. (and this is his first full season in Halifax).

Very special talent. He reminds me of Eberle in a lot of ways...

As fantastic as Drouin is doing in this game, the real story here is Fucale... with this win, he'll be the Halifax Mooseheads all-time wins leader.

With still a period to go...

Drouin stands with 6 more goals and 16 more points in one less game than Mackinnon. He has a legit chance at winning the scoring title (only 4 points behind Trainor, who has nearly 20 more games played...).

This may very well be the best player to come out of the Q since Crosby. And yes, I'm aware of a certain Claude Giroux that came by. But Drouin is just that good.

I think the odds he goes first are 50/50 now...

The guy really is unreal. If I was going to rank players that I have personally watched in the Q it would go 1)Crosby 2)Drouin 3)Giroux
The guy has the game on his stick at all times

Seeing you're from Nova Scotia, you probably got to watch them more than me, but where would you rank Mackinnon? Mac has much better numbers than Giroux in his draft year.

Ummm, not as I recall. Pretty sure Giroux topped 100 points every year he played in the Q, something Nate has yet to do, and doesn't look like he will.

Yeah. I just know in the beginning of the year he was barely in like top 8 talks and he's slowly gone up. A few times I've said he'll contend with Nate in terms of top 1/2, and people got on me and told me I was wrong and that he'd be out of the top 5. Friends in Ontario don't know much about him or talk about him like they do Mac or Jones.

Of course a lot of people have been tracking him and know how he is, but it seems like now more than ever there's people on his bandwagon.

That I saw personally he would eithe be 4 or 5, the other being Huberdeau. I never got the chance to see the likes of Lecaviller, Richards or Fluery while they were in the Q though.

Since i'm also from NS, i'm gonna give my answer to this... I've been attending Mooseheads games since about 1998, regularly since 2000. For me, MacKinnon is 8th on my top-10.

Crosby
Giroux
Drouin
Fleury
Voracek
Huberdeau
Radulov
MacKinnon
Letang
Yandle

Two players I never got to see and regret it are Dmitri Kulikov and Sean Couturier..

He hit 103 points in 69 games in his draft year. Man, how did Giroux not get drafted higher? I assume it was size issues.

Voracek (7th)
MacKinnon (?)

#2 - #4 IMO.

Doesn't quite have the size to go #1, not that it effects him, but it's still a good thing to have.

Then neither is MacKinnon, they're the same height and only 3lbs different.
