Come on Pierre, "The Philadelphia guys"? No one on this team is from Philadelphia nor ever won a cup with the Flyers.

ADK/SPR game suspended due to injured player
Anyone with an AHL package know what happened in this game today between ADK & SPR?
It appears a boarding penalty was assigned near the end of the 2nd period, and then the game was delayed, then cancelled.
That seems really omminous to me, I sure hope no one was paralyzed or killed.
But short of something that bad, why would they suspend a game?
Just horrible I fear.

Good to hear that the player looks to be stable. Sounds like a very scary thing to see happen.

And he officially won't return.
I guess he's done for the year sadly. That was so brutal to watch.

I don't think he's necessarily done for the year. Maybe a week or two, but it didn't look like the actual impact was THAT hard. Sure, it looked awful but it wasn't a massive impact as such.
Hoping for best.

Hope Power is okay as well, man that is rough to see!
On a lighter note Dallas with an absolutely HORRIFIC loss at home tonight to the pathetic Flames in regulation 4-3 after being up 3-1 entering the 3rd period, whooo!
Nucks/Blues tied at 2 in the 2nd period right now.

Possible OT coming...

Blues win in OT, Allen looked great down the stretch there.

Oh man that was a collision! Feel bad for Powe, such a solid grinder...just couldn't make himself stand out amongst our similarly styled grinders.

So, Powe has been placed on IR and will be out till doctors clear him to play again.
In other words, he has a concussion. Thankfully his knee seems fine at least.

Yeah. Everyone is working except government employees. And they can't afford to go to the games anyhow.

Wow! Nashville just got screwed on an offsides call. One of the worst I've ever seen.
Btw the only reason I am able to see this game is because the blizzard is so bad here they have called off work almost everywhere.
