My thoughts about Merle and the book.

Spoil:

I really thought that Merle was going to play the roll of Martinez in the books, where he would help Darryl escape, and Darryl would bring him back to the prison.. Merle would then sneak off to go back to the woodbury, but instead of Rick killing him it would be Darryl

Last weekend I watched the marathon season 2 run, then season 3, and finally the new episode.

I hadn't seen S1, so the wife got it for me for V-Day. Also, someone on here turned me on to the webisodes, and I've seen them now, too.

Its still there though, and it shows. Not as bad. I'm kind of worried its going to get worse due to whats been going on though.
