I will say he flopped like a fish. Took himself right out of the play

Someone should have played the puck with more urgency.

WTF! Good pinch by Vancouver but Blues slow to clear and pick up their man.

I just got home. How are they playing? I see the shots are even, is that indicative of the actual play?

Give Vancouver credit, they made solid plays on both of their goals.

The defensive sloppiness just isn't going away this season. Things will undoubtedly improve, but crazy that we are almost a third of the way through the season and we are on pace to lose almost as many goals in the condensed season as we did all last season.

Of all the teams Henrik could have scored his one goal this year against I wouldn't have figured it would be the Blues.

What are you guys gunna do with Elliot now? From what I've heard Allen has been quite good for you guys.

Forgive if this is a dumb question.

Yep. And both of them were because of mistakes the Blues made.

Vancouver took advantage of Blues mistakes. Blues just can't become so stagnant in their own zone and it is affecting their ability to break out.

Allen will be getting sent down tomorrow. Halįk is ready, and Elliott will hopefully have got himself together having had a couple of games off. Halįk is the undoubted #1 though.

They are losing possession of the puck too much in their own zone, and letting forwards get behind them deep in their zone. 3 defenders moved towards the same Canuck, leaving a clear path to the net. They ust don't seem to be as well coordinated on defence this season as last. Not having a pre-season is part of the reason, but, overall, both the forwards and the defencemen don't seem to be playing well (disciplined) in Hitch's system as they were last year.

They need to get back to that dominating puck possession and great checking game and smothering defence they had last season. They are limiting shots on goal fairly well, but they are giving up way too many easy chances. They are making a LOT more mistakes than last season, with almost all the same players.

21 players have now scored their 1st goal of the season against the Blues. That's sad.

They will probably keep him up until after the SJ game to make sure Halak can play the full game and then send him down on Wednesday

Great, thanks for your answer. I'm a big Jaro fan so glad to see that he's not injured super long term.

I ask you this.

When is a goal scored when a mistake isn't made?
