Florida winning 5-4 with 10 seconds left in regulation. Give up tying goal then OT winner to Tampa.

Canadiens awarded a goal after Voracek commits a penalty on Rene Bourque as he breaks toward M.T. Knett.

(Actually Bourque had quite an elbow right to Voracek's face.)

I'm trying to think of the last time I saw an "automatic goal."

Ales Hemsky just scored a nasty goal agasint the Avs. He turned O'Brien into a pretzel. RNH scored his first of the season too.

Viktor Fasth has been a rock in goal for Anaheim. What is it with the Ducks and goalie scouting? Giguere (from us back in the day), Bryz, Hiller, and now Fasth. Beasts.

Which is why we should be dismayed that they saw Frederick Andersen as worth a 3rd round pick. To think that our only 7th round home run in recent memory is tearing it up in the AHL is just frustrating when he could just as easily be doing it here. Hell, if he were in our organization right now I bet dimes to donuts he'd be in the NHL because we never would have given Ellis that PTO with a full house in Charlotte. Now he's behind Viktor Fasth, Jonas Hiller, and fighting with Igor Bobkov and John Gibson for the future in net there.

I still fell bad about it, but his agent is kinda to blame on that one. He didn't wanna be stuck behind Murphy and Peters, well Murphs is loong gone and Peters is in Charlotte. Freddy could've at worst been the full time starter in Charlotte or Cam's full time back up. He chose a different path and it's his desicion to live with.

To be fair tho, I think it's safe to say, small sample size aside, that Ellis is equally a home run. He's a bit older, but he's still got ample years left and he's been playing out of his mind.

Fasth, the guy that beat out Andersen for the top SEL goaltender award the last two years, is now the guy ensuring that Andersen has an even longer wait to get to the NHL in Anaheim than he would have had in Carolina. Seems appropriate.

Boychuk scratched again. How many games will he sit before they waive him?

Pens win on a late goal.

How long until Ruff is fired?

That Sabres/Pens game was a great one to watch.. probably my favorite neutral game of the year.

Miller's glove save a few mins earlier was a thing of beauty.

Nope, we'll win Game 7 in OT as well. They'll go undefeated in regulation this year and lose the Cup.

I wish there was a link to it, but a Canadian sports channel Click Me simulated the season after the lock out ended and had us beating Chicago in 6 in the Final. No jokes.

BTW, if no one checked out Zucker's first career goal last night, it was an absolute beauty of a play. Wins the puck along his own boards, makes like two Wings miss (still in his own zone), then streaks in on a 2-on-1 and fires it. Gorgeous.

Watching Isles-Flyers right now. Really don't see the problem with the Islanders alternates.

And Giroux scores
