My sister in law gave my 5 year old one for Christmas. The games she gave him were not really appropriate.

I looked, and there are not many games for it at all. It does take pictures, cruise the net, and can send email. It may do more, but that's what I saw after playing with it for a few minutes.

We ended up selling it with the games online, and then buying him an ipad mini with the $.

I think if ya give it more time, maybe there will be more games out there

Started a be a gm with the blue jackets. Traded for Galchenyuk, Huberdeau and Kreider and then traded half of the team for 1sts and Simmed the season to the draft. I had 7 firsts and I picked:
Drouin
Pulock
Mantha
Nurse
Barkov
Morrissey
Ristolainen

My lineup:

Drouin-Johansen-Huberdeau
Kreider-Galchenyuk-Atkinson
Mantha-Barkov-Foligno
Calvert-Jenner-Dorsett

Murray-Johnson
Erixon-Nikitin
Pulock-Morrissey

Jack Campbell

It looks like something I would be in to. It has the Metal Gear Collection, which is enough for me to buy based on that alone. I imagine there will be some sort of God of War game in the near future, and I am intrigued by the whole "playing a game on the PS3 then getting up and finishing it on the Vita" feature. If the price goes below $200, I'll probably pull the trigger.

That's the only Wii U feature that peaked my interest. Even then, I wouldn't use it often. I'm a bachelor and I watch/play whatever the fudge I want

I had the opportunity to test the beta for SimCity 5 over saturday and sunday. As a longtime fan of the series (since it's inception), I was thouroghly pleased at what I saw and this is with a limited amount of playing time and limited features. FWIW, I was sold, I will definitely be buying this one.

EA will probably sell you a 60 dollar shell then make you buy a boatload of DLC to get the features. Want a subway? Buy DLC! Want a nuclear power plant? DLC!

Well, for a 5 year old - he is much happier with the ipad mini. And games are just like $1 or $2 each.

Had they had NHL13 for sale for the vita - I may have kept it myself - hahaha.

My wife asked me if I wanted it. I looked it it for a few minutes, but knew I'd never use it. I bought a PS3 a month into the lockout ONLY to get NHL13. That's still the only game I have for it. It's been 20 years since I had any sort of console game system until now.

In my GM mode, Nurse turned to an 84 OVR Top 4 D with 99 SS Power by year 3 and still had yellow stars. Hes likely not going to progress any more because I have Schultz and Gardiner in my Oilers GM mode so hes only going to get top 4 minutes but he can probably go as high as 86 or 87 ovr if the progression continues

I LOVED the beta and am also definitely buying it. I was torn between that and MLB 2kwhatever, but after some limited research, I found that 2k is releasing pretty much the same game as last year...the same game that was getting 4 out of 10s. I'll pass and get SimCity, want to get back to PC Gaming anyway...Though from what I've seen from Destiny, and of course NHL and Halo...I'll keep the 360 around.

The upcoming release list for Vita games sits at about 10-12 games. The release list for 360 and PS3 sits at about 35-45, even with brand new systems on the horizon. Even 3DS blows Vita out of the water with upcoming titles. It's an extremely under utilized system, and it's unfortunate.

SimAnt, SimTower, SimCity, SimHosptial.. all amazing games from my childhood that I'd love to see remakes of.

Also, Roller Coaster Tycoon was also amazing fun.

That doesn't look too different. I'd have to see it in person but it looks like they just added to the gaps on the top of the controller (can't really see the R and L buttons on top). Looks fine by me, probably will be a little heavier but whatever. Pretty psyched though.

Obviously, but I don't think it is going to affect the feel of the controller other than making it heavier. It looks like for the most part the buttons are all in the same place, no?
