CP loses 1-0 to Hawkesbury in a shootout. Missing 2 of their top 3 scorers sure does hurt. Laforest gets 3rd shutout in a row and Guerriero once again shows why he's the top goalie in the league (51 save SO).

Did anyone see the bears play? Buonincontri made a return to the line-up tonight reunited with Crete and Maniccia. Had a goal and one assist. This guy is the real deal all around player... solid with good size., hard shot and great skill. The bears should be extremely happy this guy is back.

Alot of time on the bus for CP. Played in Cornwall the night before. I am sure all this driving on back to back nights also played a factor. Good for LaForest. Once again CP has a goaltending dilemma going into playoffs.

Watched rangers lumber kings online...the play by play and camera work is something to be desired..wow...

Brind amour...very good in first period....

bright spot for kings...some secondary scoring...going to need that heading into playoffs...

Looking forward to Sunday...ottawa in town..should be a good one...

One last comment...think there was an error on the attendence on point streak...251....more like 51...

agree with you on that one....but one major difference....cp actually has a goalie this year....not a bad problem to have....

Going thru point streak....saw that Z did not dress for Nepean?

Issues there...with not being number one?

Or just injured.....

PG does seem to have the team playing more like a team latley....

Looks like Mulder gets the start in a huge game against Brockville. Folks like to talk about Zawadski's playoff experience (myself included) but it only means something if he actually plays.

0 for 3 in the shootout. Couldn't make a save when CP needed it. Good thing CP is playing the trap and limiting shots against even the league bottom teams.

......

Tongue in cheek (slightly) but lets not get carried away about this '95 goalie. Between the pipes is a concern for CP heading into the "real" season. That and injuries.

I guess it's easy to rip on a 17 year old but he does have as many shutouts as both your much older goalies combined (in a lot less starts). Why can't you just be happy that a local kid is doing well and getting a chance to play? The 39 shots from Hawkesbury are likely the result of only dressing 5 D and missing two of their better ones.

Injuries might definitely be an issue.

And does PG even know who his starting goalie is going to be in the "real" season?

Should be Laforest but I'm going to say O'Neill gets the start. JC has never been a fan of young goalies and I don't see him going into the playoffs with a 17 year old. He needs O'Neill to get his confidence back after that last game.

I'm so sick of hearing posters talk about a player's age."I guess it's easy to rip on a 17 year old". Does the player's age really have to do with anything?? The player is either good or not. End of story. In the case of Laforest, he is a very good player. And he should start. Age has nothing to do with it. Do not bring up a players age when someone comments on a player. Try using their play as a barometer. So sick of you people trying to make posters feel bad because they criticize the play of a player of a younger age. It makes absolutely no sense.

Watt ever are you talking about Grabbers.....You are so Randy with your comments on this forum. Couple of slow days in Raiderville and you have to come on here and stir the pot. Another team dare steal the spot light from the holier than thou Nepean Raiders?

Why not disregard Pontarelli's season or bemoan how well Blaso has done? Maybe belittle Lane for doing so well on a 8/9 team!

Why don't you stick to commenting on the positives of the Nepean Raiders without sounding like you work for the team....oh wait.

Congrats to all the great kids in this league and continued success.

Grabbers your 15 minutes have been up for well over a year now. Please go back into hibernation.

Predictions for this afternoon? Will CP end the losing streak at 2 or will Cornwall take their chance and catch the Canadians in the standings. Smith Falls with Buonincontri facing one of their tougher tests of late, Brockville. Cornwall 4-3 Smith Falls 2-1 OT

Yes...Jesse was Ian's assistant in the early season but has since left to play over in Europe, they just haven't taken him off the roster.
