Drew has a radar. Whenever someone praises a Ranger not named Hank (and I guess Nash) he gets notified via radar and comes to the rescue to save the board from the evil positive Rangers comment.

Retiring numbers should be done for players who really contributed to the Rangers over a longer period of time. I still don't get why no. 11 was retired for Messier. I am grateful for his services which brought us a Stanley Cup, but he was not a Ranger legend like Leetch, Howell or Richter.

The only player at this moment who might come close to deserving his number being retired is Lundqvist. Maybe Girardi if he plays another 8 or 10 years for us.
Well stated and 100% correct. It still blows my mind that they retired Messier's # when his last 4+ yrs here he was stealing 20 minutes a game playing time from younger players at the old age of 39-43 when he contributed absolutely nothing to the team for those years.
It was nothing more than a freakin publicity stunt bringing him back to the "dysfunctional Rangers" at that time!

I don't get why Oates wants Ovy on the right side. Makes no sense for a pure sniper.

Oh well, not complaining, just wondering.

The fact that we are justifying Graves' for his actions off the ice speaks volumes on why it's a joke his number is up there.

Richter only 3 all star appearances, no major individual hardware, it's like EDM retiring Ranford's number or DRW retiring Osgood's number.

The Rangers should honor these players for sure, but not in terms of jersey retirement imo.
Well done my friend. Nice to see a semblance of common sense around here from a Ranger's fan who has obviously been around and didn't start rooting for the team last week!!!!

Considering how terrible every player but Hank is I wonder how they're not picking top 5 every year. Hank must be the best goalie in the history of mankind.

I'm expecting the Evils to step all over the injured Sens anyway. At least PHI-NYI is a toss-up.

"The (shootout) win against the Rangers turned their season around."

Without Anderson I think this team would struggle to make the playoffs in the AHL.

There's a whole bunch wrong with them. From the colors, to the letter font, right down to the weird triangle on the pants.

Fishsticks just iced the puck on a 5-3 Powerplay.

Silly. The Rangers never have the puck on their 5-3 Powerplays. Therefore they can't ice it.

Flyers Powerplay is always nice to watch. Even if they don't score, they can control the puck really well.
