With his contribution to the organization over the years, I could see Ottawa asking him if he wants a chance at a Cup and if he says yes, I could see a deal going down. Chris Phillips decided to stay not too long ago while having the same chance. Alfredsson doesn't have too many years left, sadly. He has been a standup guy and a great player. That said, I think he would stay in Ottawa as opposed to saying deal me.
