What is it with people wanting to send veteran players down?

2+ means 2 or more.

Regardless, by your standards you would have pulled Fasth each of the last 4 games.

Hawks wings and preds. No more than two goals were allowed Soj. Those are our most recent games. Bring on the Fasthness!

And, according to you, that means he should have been pulled...

This is the kind of game the Ducks of old would lose. Let's hope this team has really changed it's ways.

St. Louis - 3.33 GPG, Fasth 5
Detroit - 2.60 GPG, Fasth 2
Chicago - 3.33 GPG, Fasth 2
Nashville - 1.87 GPG, Fasth 2

Fasth has given up more than the other team has averaged in 2 games, and less in 2 games - he's actually given up right about the average over those 4 games (11.13 GPG, he gave up 11). In EVERY SINGLE GAME he gave up at least 2. Stop holding Hiller to ridiculous standards. It's a TEAM sport.

Wow. 20 tweets. So, I guess the rest must be okay with him being sent down. You know... wanting to win games and all.

Not to mention Beleskey stepped into Etem's role and did very, very well. Certainly better than Etem did.

20 people is less than two rows at the Honda center.

And the people he was sent down for are outperforming him statistically. In both leagues.

Agree this is a type of game, first home game after a road trip, against a lesser opponent ,can be tricky and be a let down game,I think if Hillier lets in a couple you go with the hot hand

Lets hope the Ducks of old are gone

+1.

The refusal to quit has been the biggest change this year IMO. That, and scoring a goal within a few shifts of being scored on rather than allowing 2 more and folding up,for the night.

After CBJ picked the Finn as their new GM I will follow them more closely and will root for them too but not against the Ducks

But still let's make it close...7-5 or 7-6 win sounds about right

Let's Go Duuuuucks!

Makes you wonder if Staubitz makes his was back into the lineup though.
They are icing a tough line-up for sure.

A probable game plan for them is to force fights with Beauch and Souray as well as Staubitz. This would take our better D-men off the ice, as well as tire out the remaining 4. Hope Beleskey, Maroon and Holland realize they might have to sacrifice themselves so that Getz, Pers, and our D stay in the game.

Bear in mind, the particular person who always is posting that stuff, is the same one who wanted the team to tank this season so we can pick #1 and acquire more draft picks

Because that has worked so well for Edmonton.

It got them a preseason ranking of #1 in the Western Conference!

You get a banner for that, right?

There's no way he's a bust dude. He showed flashes of brilliance while he was up here. With 6 minutes a night what are you really expecting? That's not adequate time to rate a player.

Want to see young talent? Watch junior hockey. It was blatantly clear Etem wasn't ready. Neither was Vatanen for that matter. You seem to be alone on these ridiculous opinions too, by the way.

How about 14 minutes? Is that enough time? He also got time with Getzlaf and Perry. Etem had plenty of opportunity. He just didn't cash in.
