Connolly also extended his scoring streak. 11points in last 9games.

I hope there's a youtube of Korobov's greenlight destruction of Blacker in tonight's game. Was a thing of beauty. Also, The Beard and Connolly scored beauties in the SO.

Hopefully they upload highlights to the Crunch youtube, they usually do it for home games.

Has anyone seen much of Nikita Gusev this season? If so, how has he progressed?

I just followed him through BoltProspects.com, but he didn't get many minutes in the KHL every game. I think it was like 12 a game or something. Still put up a decent amount of points in that time though. I'm really hoping to see him in Syracuse in the next couple of years.

Look up the word reload in the dictionary and it will just say Syracuse Crunch. The Crunch could get Kucherov, Gusev, Paquette, Richard, Sergeev, Nesterov, Witkowski, Vasilevski, and probably a free agent or two next season. Wow.

They will likely lose Brown, Johnson and Barberio/Gudas/Korobov.

But I agree they should still be a good team.

I totally expect SY to make some magic next month/ in the offseason. I expect to see either Sustr or DeKeyser sign with us. Maybe he can find another Johnson or at least a Gauthier as well? And hopefully he can confince all the russians to come over (Vasi, Sergeev and Kucherov are already sure things in my opinion, I also see Nesterov signing, the only big question mark in my opinion is Gusev)

I think Syracuse will play great next year again. Gauthier and Vladdy will be much better, Langelier-Parent should be up as well (Bye the way is he injured again??), his stats look like he could be very good ( though it's only 3 games ).

I see you expect Connolly to not make the big club next year, any reason?

I would personally like to keep Korobov down there an extra year unless he plays so phenomenally in camp we can't send him down. Be nice to see what he could do with an extra year to mature and develop his game, plus he could help some of the other Russians coming to Syracuse next year.

Korobov will be 24 in a couple weeks, he's already one of our oldest prospects. He has parts of 3 seasons in the KHL. He doesn't need any more time in the AHL. Namestnikov will be able to help the new Russians.

Oh yeah, forgot about Vladdy. I don't think we'll have room for 3 new defensemen next year though. We currently have Carle, Hedman, Brewer, Salo and Lee on the books for next year (and Ohlund of course). I assume we'll sign Aulie and probably one of Taormina/Mikkelson. That leaves room for 1-2 dmen to come up unless we make a trade to free up a spot or two.
