2G 3A. I'm surprised how much weight (194lbs) he has on a 5'10 frame. He must be pretty stocky? Wish I could see London play a few times to get an idea of playing style/nhl comparable.

He's also an incredibly intelligent player that is always thinking out there. He's also a very good two-way player. Joe Sakic wasn't a big player and Domi's skillset is very similar to Sakic's. I love Domi's game and this guy is a gamer.
How much greater is Drouin than Domi?

Different player. Domi is a player whos extremely strong along the boards, but has great hands and plays a very finesse style game when he has the puck, while driving to the net when he doesnt have it.

Max reminds me of Crosby down low... physical and very hard to knock off the puck.

He's got great vision. Drouin is finesse and to me Domi is a little more physical a player with the puck.

Brad Marchand type size but with WAAAYYYY more skill. Maybe a good Scott Gomez if there is such a thing.

Gomez was one of the best playmakers in the league before the Rangers.

For Domi, I hate NHL comparisons but I agree with the Crosby when he's down low compression. They both have a great lower body strength.

He's on a tear since 2013 began. 27 points in his last 17 games. Hat trick today and an assist.

Up to 75 points in 54 games. Kid is a heck of talent.

That london team is absolutely stacked though. How much is that affecting his numbers?

He creates alot of the oppurtunties for himself and his linemates.. so not much. Obviously, it's easier to put up points when you're linemates can make plays and finish.. but Domi would have put up great numbers no matter where he played.

I really, really like the Brad Marchand comparison for Domi. Domi's more skilled, but the gap isn't huge IMO.

I actually met Max's dad Tie through our Director of Souting Mark Edwards and he asked us what we thought about Max's projection and I can tell you the same thing I told him. I said that only a certain amount of players Max's size make the NHL. Max has those tools that the players his size have who do make it. He has the elite hockey sense, he has tremendous vision, and there are moments he's able to control the pace, or change the pace of the game.

If Max was 6'0" he'd be right in that top 6-8 group without question, but more and more in the NHL we're seeing talented undersized players make the jump which bodes well for Max. There's not much not to like besides the side. He has the offensive tools, his compete level is great. He will kinda cool off at times or coast for a few shifts, but whenever the game is on the line or the Knights need a boost in the third period Max has always shown up in my viewings.

For a Domi, Max is sure a pacifist.

I expect the official numbers at the combine will have him weigh in ten to fifteen pounds lighter than 194.

He reminds me of Ladislav Nagy before he was ruined by injuries. Tons of slick skill and a lot of piss and venagar. His water bug nature reminds me a bit of Mikhail Grabovski, as well.

He was recently weighed at around that amount, so it's possible that he's still that heavy at the Combine.

Sometimes measurements are exaggerated and players often lose weight over the course of the season, but neither of those look to apply to Domi.

I'm more suggesting that his weight is exaggerated than I am that he's lost weight. I guess we will see at the combine. The combine numbers are generally legitimate, no?

Well, here's what Kevin Forbes said about his measurements at the Top Prospects Game:

So, looks like the OHL listing was legit.

I just got back from the Knights game. Beat the Rangers 6-1.

Domi had 2 goals and 2 assists.

He dominated in the offensive zone all game and could have had a couple more points. He was the only player that completely stood out for me all game. Zadorov was solid on D though and Murphy was okay for the Rangers. Horvat didn't do much and Faksa was invisible.

I've been saying it for awhile but I think Domi is top 5 talent and if he was bigger would easily be ranked that way for the upcoming draft. He is going to be a steal in this draft and if he hangs around to the late first round I hope the Habs get him.

Forgot to mention Maata. He had a really solid game as well. Commanded the blue line and made smart decisions
