Two games in a row without a win, and they both felt like wins. Tough results, but solid hockey from the Preds.

Gotta come out mad against the Wings tomorrow!

Man, that is some serious ********. Take out the weird 1st goal and the offside play, and we win, even with Mason's iffy play.

did you see the performance Edmonton had against this team? did you miss Colorado's injuries? I seriously think your posts are all classified under one objective - make everyone look dumb and make yourself look as wise as possible. must be a sad, lonely guy

It's easier to rant "Mason sucks" than to look at what happened on each of the goals. I remember when this was a place for hockey discussion with intelligent discourse.

Such a frustrating game. Not sure why the general public supposedly enjoys high scoring affairs.

I think if the league went to this regularly there would be even more complaints.

It's just like ties. Everyone hated ties. Now everyone hates the shootout. The masses will never be happy.

I'm still really steamed about that non-offsides call...but we have no one to blame but ourselves for the loss. Besides Mason having an off day (to put it lightly), the defense in the second period was horrid. The offense was obviously there today. If we played with even our usual defensive effort, we should have won the game.

But that's the Preds for you. We rarely put together a complete game at all ends of the ice. It's nice to pad the stats a little bit and get the offense going, but not at the expense of losing 2 points...and no offense to Colorado and their fans, but there's really no excuse for not coming away with zero points to that team. We let their offense look like the Blackhawks today.

4 goals, but if this team had people who could acutally finish it would have been 24. This is the one of the ugliest looking offensive system in the history of the NHL.

lol...yeah, that's just straight trolling there.

But at least they gave us a star. I forget who we played (Anaheim, maybe?) where we lost in a low scoring shootout and their team got all 3 stars.

Offense was not the problem today- and if you guys are arguing about finishing, for the record Edmonton had 5 goals (not counting EN) on 56 shots, we had 5 on 36 shots.

We win easily if we have our usual D and goaltending

There have been at least 3 other scoring chances that should have been goals.

Holy smokes why are we complaining about offense in a 5 goal 38 shot game?

Edmonton scored 6 goals on 56 shots in Colorado's last game. Is their offensive system pathetic also?

Sergei Kostitsyn was a team best +3 today (Fisher and Bourque were the only other +s at +1).

That is hilarious.

You might as well post this in every game thread for every team in the NHL.

Awesome, the difference of us getting a point, possibly 2 was a linesman.

Our defense needs to realize that Rinne may take a game off and they need to tighten up some when Mason is in there.

Finally both Legwand and Fisher have regressed offensively. Fisher looked a bit better at times today, but Legwand gives so many pucks away and ruins the cycle so often.

Offensively our d-men are awesome. Klein is playing just as good as Weber did last year, he needed to convert but he was everywhere. Blum and Ellis are way ahead of where I thought they would be.

Yeah definitely one guy who isn't getting enough praise this year is Klein. I honestly think he's been our best all around defenseman this year. Can't think of many mistakes, but also making lots of good plays. Very consistent.

you guys sit here and clamor over our offense ... you will be the same ones *****ing by the end of our next 3 games. just watch. its the ****ing avalanche. our performance against Anaheim was way more impressive but that game was different because the ducks are halfway competent defensively. we still couldn't finish
