Whats the scoreboard with staubitz in the lineup again
You think his 5 minutes a game is having a genuine impact on our wins/losses? Get real, Dirk. A team is either tough, or they aren't. Adding one player isn't going to change that, and in Staubitz's case he just isn't on the ice enough. You think teams are going to cower in fear that Staubitz will go out there for about 45 seconds twice a period?
When tinker bell, after 60 minutes, gets to skate by the opponents' bench, blows them some kisses as she heads for the dressing room to celebrate another couple of points, that kind of works for about everyone.

Without Staubitz the ducks are middle of the pack with him they go up a couple notches in toughness.
So my question is why even have a player like that if you won't dress him against a team that has Boll Doresett and Gillies? We have seen this team can still win games when he plays

Just pointing out the differences
Implying the reason I became a fan of this team was the Disney ownership? I'm actually one of the few who didn't see the Mighty Ducks until my teen years. By then I was already a fan of the team after going to my first game, LA-Anaheim. Ducks won, jumped on that bandwagon. Used Anaheim in the NHL video games, and it took off from there.
That doesn't meant that because of the "kind of fan I am" that makes my opinion any less correct. You have yet to answer what Staubitz is doing in his 5 minutes per game of playing time that is resulting in wins for the Ducks. Cause so far his biggest contribution to this team has been destroying our rhythm in the game against Dallas. Also, we've had one injury. I don't think if Staubitz was on the ice he could've prevented Stoll from doing what he did.

I thought Maroon was a fighter...? It's not like Staubitz is some incredible fighter who never loses. I've seen him get his ass kicked plenty. Maroon is bigger, and I've seen him have some nice scraps in the AHL. Beleskey can hang with most middleweights in the NHL. We don't have a heavy weight even if Staubitz dressed. The only true heavy is PL3, and he's in Norfolk

Don`t want to start that long discussion again, as i still have different opinion as majority here, but if he can play (can he? i think i saw the news he`s cleared), then why he isn`t in Norfolk, or at Ducks lineup if management trust him? Rakell situation?
Our guys should be pretty gased out after the road trip. Then we have 5 days off and 5 games in 7 days. uhh...
But i`m more optimistic about this game with Bruce on the bench than i would be with Randy.
If we do loose somehow, i`d really like to hear Bruce speach after the game

Better that way. I want to see him in a Ducks jersey but we've got Fowler coming back and Lovejoy playing some real solid D. No need to rush him. He can find his game back in Norfolk.
