Really guys? Ottawa? They just lost their 2 best players. Some people just aren't up to date with the latest events.

Ottawa is officially a team without Karlsson, so I have to give it to Montreal. Toronto's doing a good job of keeping up but they're still a little behind, and lord knows who's going to bottom out more between Buffalo or Ottawa. I'm still half-expecting Buffalo to recover and surge at some point later in the season, but man are they bad right now.

You shouldn't be apologizing to the Bruins. You should be thanking the schedule makers and Mother Nature for allowing the Habs to have a brief division lead early in the season.

Considering about 90% of the world had the Habs written off as another basement dweller before the season even started, we'll take a temporary division lead.

You guys sure cling on to your small moments of joy for a long time, don't you?

Well, can't blame you, I would probably do the same if I were a Leafs' fan.

I don't see how it's obviously Montreal considering they're ahead of the Leafs by a hair in the standings and the Leafs have stomped them so far this season.

Obviously? Toronto is coming together very well, and this is with their best scorer struggling goals wise (Kessel, a top 10 even strength goal scorer past 3-4 seasons, scored his 1st EV goal against Florida) and with Lupul out. Very good scoring depth when Joffrey and Frattin come back, hopefully they keep it up defensively.

I guess you are trying to be dense on purpose but I don't really see how this is "today's NHL". Boston can't earn the points if they haven't played the games...

Anyway, factoring in injuries etc, I think Montreal is 2nd best.

Montreal slightly over Toronto. I like their goaltending and blueline a lot better than Toronto's.

You realize the Bruins have only 6 back-to-back games while Leafs and Habs have 9 ? You fail, hard.

head to head you were outscored 6-1 thats why I don't put much stock into your 1 point northeast lead because head to head you guys have shown NO abilty to compete
