especially if we never give a goalie more than 5 games to prove he is an nhl goalie.

The added pressure would make anyone shaky I imagine. The team lost an elite goaltender, then all of a sudden all of that pressure that Kipper seemed to hold so calmy falls on a backup who has not had the greatest season of his career. It is understandable.

Sick of the team playing so damn inconsistent. I want Iggy to start scoring, Gio to stop playing like poop, Bouw to score a little more, Glenny to heat up, Cammy to start shooting more and our players to get healthy.

Jekyll and Hyde continues. These are crushing losses.

PS. Has Iggy been traded already? I sure as hell don't notice him on the ice anymore.

Is Charlie Simmer dead? (Un-dead?)

His lips were completely blue in the post game analysis.

Can someone find a screen grab?

Hartley said the best line was Comeau-Jackman-Begin so that should be pretty indicative of how the game went.

Sounds like I chose the right night to miss my first game in two seasons! (I need to get out more! haha).

It would be nice to see a winning streak this season.... please...

Taylor was pretty god awful, he negated any good players we had.

Inconsistent offense, shaky defense, below average goaltending...

Time to blow this sucka up!

I was bored to tears for 40 minutes and then we basically got blown out in the end, so I don't think a game could be more painful. Between St Louis and then this, I feel that we need to write this season off because the team obviously does not feel interested in competing. Need to get rid of a few players, hopefully there will be teams interested in picking them up. Giordano certainly comes to mind.

This Phoenix game eerily reminded me of the Vancouver game. Lots of sloppy play.

I would probably start with moving Iginla and Giordano at this point, both of them, while playing poorly this year could still return some very good assets.

Considering the Flames only showed up for 1 period out of 9 over the long weekend
Seems like we should be happy we got 2 points
Pretty depressing weekend for the Flames

Meh.

It's like saying "stepping in cow poop is a bit better than stepping in dog poop".

At the end of the day, they're both still poop.

I'd say Irving was much more sound. I think in the Dallas game, while he played AWFUL he still only let in 4 goals with a terrible D infront of him. He was probably shakey the next game after all the pressure and Hartley pulled him so fast he's most likely been stunned since.

I think MacD is a good stop gap, but he isnt anything special.

Taylor looks like he's over his head.

Stewie summed it up pretty good, althought Irving's stinker wasn't near as bad.
