We desperately need a game like what the Flyers got against the Islanders today.

That rarely happens in the West!

That score is rare in the West. In the East, that is an everyday game.

No idea how NSH gave up 6 to COL.....

Goal orgy in the 2nd period of Nashville - Colorado game.

Nashville is a team the will likely make the playoffs yet again, but they are nothing special.

That game was painful to watch if you're an Islanders fan or any fan other than the Flyers for that matter. I started watching and changed it at 5-0 to the Devils game.

Maybe we can get that kind of game against the Flames coming up.

Poor Danny Taylor is being lit up. Looks like he'll be joining Travis Scott, Adam Hauser, Barry Brust and Yutaka Fukufuji as former Kings goalie prospects who had a cup of coffee in the big leagues and fizzled away.

The Flames desperately need help in between the pipes.

Perfect place for Bernier. Kipper has one more year left in his contract after this year and he is getting up there. But what can we get for Bernier?

He was scored on 41 seconds into the game, on a weird rebound that he shouldn't have given up. Just awkward. To be fair though, he faced a 37 shots and kept them from getting another till the third period. Though he looked very awkward out there, like he didn't belong. Always gave up rebounds unless shot directly into his glove, and it looked like his pads were too big for him.

It is tough to trade with Calgary. Obviously we'd be interested in Iginla, but we'd likely have to add a bit to Bernier, and it is unknown if they will let him go. Stempniak or Hudler would be interesting, but probably wouldn't help us very much. It would be near impossible that Lombardi would take Cammy back. Tanguay would be nice, but I doubt they deal him. Glencross+ maybe? I'd think we'd prefer to wait for a better deal though.

If they offered Sven Baertschi, Chris Butler, and a 1st for Bernier and Muzzin, I'd probably pull the trigger. Hell, I'd make that 1st an option of being 2013 or 2014, seeing how Calgary make want to ensure that they don't give up a high pick at this years draft. I don't anticipate them improving any further in 2014, so that could possibly net a high pick for the Kings.

There's no way we'd get that value. Not to mention that Calgary knows they need to rebuild. We joke about it all the time, but Iginla and Kipper aren't going to be there much longer. They aren't going to part with any youth easily.

Alright well when do we play the islanders... the Panthers... the Capitals.... see this is why I hate that all the Kings games are all out West. Plus it makes it impossible for me to see a game live. Stupid lockout.

We know the Kings' luck against backups and third stringers. They'll somehow make him look like a star.

I don't think Dean will trade Bernier to Calgary.
