I wouldn't be pissed if Domi was our 1st rounder. I think he'll be a high end #2 center, #1 on a lot of teams. 55-70 point potential and a plays bigger than his size.

I'd jump for joy if we got Domi with a mid-1st. The kid is a top 7 pick in several other years.
From what I saw during last year's Memorial Cup i'd be ****ing happy with Domi and you have to think he would get along just great with the guys and having player with Tinordi. I hope he slides to us in the draft
Lazar is a 200 ft. player, and a very smart one at that. And probably the safer pick. But I agree with CP, Domi is the more dynamic one. The problem is he doesn't contribute much when he's not scoring goals, and if he can't translate his goalscoring to the NHL...you don't have much of a player.
I'd be happy with Domi though, I like the homerun picks. I'd be thrilled with Lazar if we draft around 18 or wherever we're slated to go right now. Not sure I like him in or around the top ten like some scouting services have him ranked.
I really like Domi's game. He competes, drives the net and has sick hands. I will be extactic if we could land him between 19th and 26th selection. Last night he scored twice. Two beauties!

Lazar is up to 32 goals in 60 games as a 17 year old in the WHL. Pretty impressive. The lack of assists (only 16) is the only concern I see with him.
Fucale early in round 2? Hartman with a mid-2nd it looks like? Might as well hope you win the lottery too.
Collberg was supposed to go in the teens, Thrower was supposed to be a late 1st and Bozon was a 2nd rounder. Between now and the draft anything could happen.
Hartman is all over the place from low 20's to high 40's. It's not impossible one of our 2nd rounders ends up being just that.
Lots of rankings have him in round 1 now and I just can't see such a versatile and pretty talented player - who is a total pain in the ass to play against - sliding outside of round 1. Let alone into the 40's. You win playoff series with guys like him.
My reaction if the Habs can somehow steal Ryan Hartman with a mid 40's pick:
