Sucks for BGally, but a smart decision to keep him out for the next two games. Don't want to risk anything, even if he's feeling really good. Anything below 100% is a no-go.

Not suspension worthy, but you can't get a clearer penalty than that. Gally's in a battle with Briere and Schenn jumps in and hits him straight in the numbers, nothing awkward about it.

i wouldnt say playing good. he was adequate for one game versus the flyers where he was barely tested facing 19 shots.

More to do with Price being likely still to ill than Budaj playing well.

No way was Gallagher going to be flying to New York immediately post-concussion. High altitudes and brain trauma don't mix. It was a guaranteed rest for tonight's game and it's a probable rest for the Islanders game on Thursday.
