I'll be there tonight with a buddy of mine. Going to be weird seeing Prust on the Garden ice in a Habs Uniform but hey, Let's go Rangers!

Mashinter will wear No. 40, has scored five goals and six assists in 14 games with the Connecticut Whale

With this game being at the Garden, our chances increase tenfold.

Please plaster Subban on every given opportunity.

The only reason he was brought right back up was because Nash had an injury and might not have been able to play the last game against Washington.

Now with Powe getting hurt and put on IR, Mashinter was recalled the take his place, and Kreider won't be sent down just yet in case he is needed. I am sure he will be sent down once its confirmed that Nash will be ok and good to go from here on out.
Misinformed about what? I don't like him being the "extra" guy. If Torts wanted a security blanket in case Nash didn't play, they should have brought up Noob or Mash and let CK get three games over the weekend. It serves no purpose to be the 13th forward in NY.

Everybody needs to relax on the Kreider front here.
He could have played two more games in Hartford over the weekend. If they weren't sure about Nash they should have had someone else come up "just in case" IMO.

Then your opinion is way out there. You possibly lose your most dynamic offensive player for a game. Who do you replace him with? Someone with dynamic offensive skills or someone with marginal NHL ability? The answer is obvious.

He isn't the type of player who will drop the gloves with every heavyweight but he can hold his own. Fighting-wise I would say he is skilled, probably a light-heavy like Rupp.

Contrary to popular belief, the New York Rangers organization does have a better handle on who is more suited to be up here and in the lineup at this level than most of any of us do.

If the lineup stays as is, Mash will be in for Powe for the time being, and as long as Boyle doesn't suck, and Nash is fine, Kreider will go down to get steady playing time instead of warming the press box.

How many games does Kreider need to play? He's played in 41 games this season. The Rangers have 33 games left. Connecticut has 23. Then there's playoffs. Last season he played 62 games, far and away his career high.

Practicing can be good. Don't believe everything Allen Iverson tells you.

I think it's more reasonable to hope for a Mash vs. Moen fight. Though Prust is a showman, so who knows!

Mash has got some big shoes to fill. Or in Christensens case, some big creepy surgical gloves to slip on.

His head was slammed into the ice. Thought he did well against an established NHL HW. Will do fine against the Barch's and Boulton's of the world.
