Meh he only had 3 assists in 13 games before his injury in November. Not all that great, considering how he ended last season but at least he was still helping the team score goals. But since the injury he has been given ample time to get back into his old form and still hasn't done so. You can say that he brings a defensive element that is nonexistent in Young and Nani, but that isn't enough in warranting a place in the start XI regularly IMHO.

If that was RVP earlier in the season he probably would've buried the mis-hit. He's still scoring goals but he's missed a couple of those bouncers lately.

Its crazy how good he is, because he played very well. He controlled the ball when he had it and looked dangerous. But just missed a few glorious opportunities that normally he probably buries.

There's no way Arsenal wins and they better not because I don't want to have to eat my words.

I'm just gonna hope Schalke can avoid humiliation against Galatasaray, I'm almost pissed they show the match on free-TV

Been waiting all morning to watch Bayern Munich, first time watching them all season. Hopefully the match will be as exciting as it's being billed across europe.

Whoever wins the battle of the midfield will win this game.

Cazorla against Javi Martinez & Wilshere vs Schweinsteiger will be two interesting battles. Also noticed that Aaron Ramsey is on the RW, probably will play more as a RM to help Sagna cover on Ribery.

Yeah. I'm thinking a Hybrid in between a 4231 and a 451 to control the midfielder. So I really doubt that with Walcott and Van Buyten that we attack BM in the air. I'm expecting a lot of Defensive backtracking by Poldi and Ramsey

--------------Szczesny-------------
Sagna-Koscielny-Mertesacker-Vermaelen
--------Arteta---Wilshere----------
------------Cazorla-----------------
Ramsey----------------------Podolski
-------------Theo--------------------

Expecting a huge game from Szczesny. Recently admitted he had a hard time getting motivated for "small" games, but that when he plays big teams, he is always pumped up to the max (And to be fair, its in these big games/tough situations that Szczesny normally brings the best out of him)

British commentators think that Bayern doesn't have any players who can rip Arsenal apart. British commentators, as always, are idiots

That's awesome.

I don't see how Munich don't win this game, unless we see a repeat of the Chelsea game( I.e a miracle.)

I fancy Malaga and Isco in the other game. They should beat Porto IMO.

Hoping somehow for an Arsenal win, probably one of the only times I'd hope a German team doesn't win in Europe.

That is Gareth Southgate for you. The guy is a complete idiot.

I think tonight could be ugly for Arsenal.
