Personally I would have gone back to Dubey, but happy to trust Krueger to make that call.

This team never seems to fail to disappoint when you start to get your hopes up.

I think this is going to be an ugly one.

Nail better have eyes in the back of his head tonight. I can see the Kings gooning.

I think they just want to win TBH. They can't afford to lose by taking stupid penalties against a top 7 PP. Nail should be fine.

It'd be nice to have Pecks in the lineup tonight. Anyone that goes after Yak needs to get a beatdown

I can't see them gooning. maybe everytime they score, they'll skate by the oilers bench and point at Yak. but that's about it.
he better keep his head up though. just in case.

Struds said when it happened to him back in the day that he'd get the heaviest wooden stick he could and slash guys. Sure there is a vet or two on LA that knows this old trick.

This is a team that has Brown. Arguably the dirtiest piece of **** in the game. I would keep my head up if I were Nail (and it's absolutely ridiculous that he should have to)

In that case, we should send Eager out with Smytty's stick to start doing it first

I'm not usually a negative guy, but I think the Kings' checking forwards will get to us. I think this is going to be a low scoring game, but defensive gaffs will cost us...3-1 kings.

Sigh.. Makes me sad, how it used to be a top 2 PP.

In a week it will be a top 15 PP.

The kings have more things to worry about than yak only expect something if the game is a run away

Asa kings fan I really hope they do not carry any ill will. I do not see anythign wrong with the celebration and hope they do not either. Not like he did it after putting his team up 6-0.

2 things the team did the last few years to drive me crazy:

(1) get down a couple of goals and then give up;
(2) not having the energy/compete level where you'd expect it for games and losing games that they could have won.

They've done pretty good with (1) this year; beating the Kings today would go a long way to convincing me on (2) and that they really are different this year.

BC Media may have affected this judgement. Brown has zero suspensions and is not a dirty player. He is one of those players you would love if he was on your team, but hate if on a different.
Only issue I have with his game is that he does tend to go down pretty easily, but its not like he is the only one in the league who does so. So far this season he seems to have stopped doing that too. Not sure if it is just me but it seems like there is a lot less diving going on in the league.
I think this is because the league said they would be cracking down

Brown takes advantage of players in a vulnerable position while being arguably the biggest diver in the league.

So, Khabi wins tonight, steals the show, 1st star. Does he start again Thursday?

No it's because he's a dirty piece of **** that constantly dives and refuses to answer for anything he does. I literally don't pay any attention to BC media. Just because he hasn't been suspended doesn't mean he shouldn't have been. Hits like his on Rozsival are garbage and have no place in this sport. Especially when you're too scared to answer to OEL.

He also has a lot of borderline ones that could go either way

Rishaug and Gregor discussing Hemsky right now. Does he stay or go stuff. Hard to give up and also gets us a good player. Pretty balanced.

Dubnyk has played alot of hockey, nothing wrong with Khabi getting another start. DD is the starter for this club but getting him a couple of days rest can't hurt.

Oilers triumph tonight, 6-2
