Nope. Allen's a really good goaltender. I'm predicting a shutout.
As for this team... What kind of crap coaching decisions are these? Did they not see what Galiardi could do when he was playing with some ACTUAL talent (Havlat)? But no, it's better to ice "null offense" gritty Burish, who has to be the least gritty grit player I've ever seen, and Matt Pelech, the human scoring chance black hole. And guess who's probably stuck with them? Havlat! Oh, and the Blues are such a great transition team, let's ice SLOW AS **** DOUGLAS MURRAY, yeah he'll be GREAT at controlling gaps and beating the Blues forecheck! **** this game so hard, I'm not even going to bother watching. 1+K vCash on the Blues.
So calling the game will be Dave Strader and Pierre McDiddles. meh!!
I actually really like Strader, I think he's one of the best PBP guys out there. It'll be interesting to see who the one or two players are that Pierre works into every other comment, seeing as the Wings, Hawks, and entire Eastern Conference aren't playing.
I like how the automatic assumption is if Murray is playing it must be because McClellan doesn't know what he's doing, not that someone might be injured or sick.
Couture, Vlasic, Wingels
What's he done over the past three seasons to deserve the benefit of the doubt? Whether it's Wallin, Huskins, White, or Murray, Todd almost always chooses "veteran presence" on the blueline over younger, faster, better options.
