Let me start by saying that Buff is probably one of the most entertaining players in the league and I really appreciate his style, but I'm not sure that this team can team can win if our "leadership group" shows his sort of casual attitude.

The Jets win a low scoring battle, while Pavs steals the show. Jets win 3-1. Go Jets Go!

Disagree. This one's got sloppy, high-scoring affair written all over it. Happy days. 5-3 Jets.

Wonder which Clitsome we get today? Happier that he's paired with Stuart, rather than one of the rookies.

Pretty easy to understand why there going with Clitsome over Redmond, Clitsome had picked his game up and Redmond hasn't looked good in his last 4.

I honestly am still baffled as to why they would go with this.

Buff and Bogo both publicly stated they would like to play together, and I know Hainsey hates playing with Buff.

You're playing Hainsey as a #1-2 which he isn't, then a #1-2 which Bogo is as a 3-4, especially when offensively Buff is probably a #1 but defensively not even close.

It doesn't play to their strengths or preferences imo.

Is it just me or has Bogo been up the ice more than Byfug in the last few games?

I want to see Bogosian go back to RW for a game or two, just for s&g's.

Its a contract year. Probably wants to put up more points to get more money.

I'm feeling like the JETS might get a point out of this one, but are going to come up short in the end. I'll go with 4 - 3 Buffalo in OT or the shootout.

Vanek will have at least 3 points tonight and Ott will be a pain as usual.

I wonder if Miller's post game rant the other day will affect their team positively or negatively.

Agree, Lynk.

I'd go,

Bogosian - Byfuglien
Hainsey - Postma
Stuart - Clitsome

That at least gets the pairings somewhat close to normal. Shift Stuart up if you want, perhaps over Postma, whatever. But something like this I wouldn't mind seeing. Its the most balanced in my opinion.

Well by "strengths" Buff and Bogo are both good puck cariers but Buff is better pushed to the o-zone and Bogo is a guy you can bury in the d-zone and have minimal effect.
But, that said... With Enstrom gone my preference is still:
Bogo-Buff
Hains-A
Stu-B
Redmond, Clitsome and Postma rotate between the 3 depending on how they are each playing.

Is it weird that I am more relaxed watching Jets games because I expect them to lose? 3-1 Jets only because I cant pick them to lose

Clitsome playing with Buff, Hainsey with Bogo, and Stuie with Postma

Nice moves, Buff will make sure Clitsome is in the right spot, he's known for talking to his d partner.

Maybe we see the Clitsome of last season?

Sorry if I sound misinformed/ignorant or anything but what happened to Enstrom?

That pairing looks absolutely scary, and not in a good way. Buff might have to tone down the rushes which is bad for us since he's one of our best offensive pieces.

He took a hit and we're not really sure. He had a slumped shoulder as he went off. Could be his collarbone again or his shoulder.

If Jets play like they did against the Pens and Bruins then this game is close and likely favours the Jets. Need the good play to continue for a third game and it will pay off. Also need some timely saves from Pavs.

Now is a good time in the season for a forward to step up and (somewhat) be the go to guy like Wheeler seemed to be last year. And ffs I sure hope they stick Tangradi in front of Miller. Like right in front, bumping him every turn.

GO JETS GO

Its funny how this place is not as busy as it was earlier in the season. I guess were the die hards that stick around through the good and bad times!

Listening to the pregame show on 1290, there seems to be no ambiguity (going based off Wheeler and Noel's comments) that playing at home has been stressing the team out. Noel was choosing his words very carefully and didn't want to attribute it to anything specific, but IMO this was going beyond the basic cliches about it being good to get on the road.

Maybe an extended road trip is just what this team needed?

I dunno man they are professional athletes. Blaming losses on too much pressure at home is unacceptable IMO.

Some of us have just chosen to intentionally lurk more; far more enjoyable IMO.

Go Jets Go though.

I think we win a close high scoring game, 5-4 jets
And I posted this on the OT, but is there any way I can watch tonight's game from my iPhone?
