THAT... is pathetic. That's the kind of thing that should necessitate a replay. Things coaches can use a protest replay for. 1 per game, not more than 2 per week... something to limit it so it's not abused. That is literally a beer league call. What was the ****ing linesman doing, texting his wife or something? How do you miss that unless your head is completely up your ass / not in the game?

How's Goligoski playing for Dallas? People on the trade forum give the impression he's deteriorated there.

Funny you should ask, I drafted him. Streaky player but he sees a lot of PP time. 0 goals, 6 A.

Heard about it today and saw the replay tonight, just brutal, 10 feet offside

Real tough blow for the Isles on an already brutal day. Brian Strait diagnosed with ankle fracture, could be done for the season.

I hate when coaches leave their goalies in for such slaughter.

That said, that's one of those scores you look at and just have to laugh at no matter who is involved.

Canadiens look great in stifling the Hurricanes. They look strong this year.

We do, indeed, need to make players responsible for their actions (can't think of better wording). I loved MT. May not have allowed Sid/Geno to go out and play as the wanted, but he was all about accountability.

Guaranteed way this board melts down: if a Therien-coached Habs team knocks the Pens out in the playoffs.

Yeah right. This board is melting down in any circumstance other than a Stanley Cup.

I had Nabokov in my team but thank god I picked up Scrivens when Reimer got injured. Been a life-saver.

KIRK and I were talking about this in the winger thread: Carlyle has them playin good hockey right now, and I think some people underestimate the Leafs' depth.

I like Burke, so I'm hoping this is a bit of redemption for him.

The Leafs could do some real damage if they ever acquired that legitimate #1 center. Depth-wise, I think they're pretty strong up front with guys like Kessel, Grabovski, Kulemin, MacArthur, Kadri, JVR, Lupul (when he's back), Frattin and Bozak. Throw in a defensively sound McClemment, and two solid physical guys in Komorov and Brown, and that's a pretty strong group of forwards.
