Does anyone find it odd that all three of these guys were his teammates on the 2010 Canadian Olympic team?

Is this stretch also the most talented fight card streak ever? Are there any other talented players who fought other talented players 3 times in a row or more?

Wasn't sure if I should have put this in this forum or the fights forum, mods move to the appropriate one please.

Remember Backes fighting three guys on the Canadian Olympic team in a matter of weeks leading up to the event. Not spaced over this long a time frame, would name that as more impressive.

Thornton would destroy Kesler, and Kesler was smart to avoid the fight (and yes likely 'scared').

That is how the series started. How it proceeded after that point was that Kesler played some of the best hockey of his career until the injury.

The Canucks, led in large part by Kesler, won in 5.

In Summary:
1 moral victory for Thornton, series victory to the Canucks.

Moral victories tend to be for players on the losing side.
