Why I think SOG are deceptive...
1st period - I thought we had an edge on Detroit
NSH - 8
DET - 11

2nd period - I thought Detroit had an edge on us
NSH - 12
DET - 7

Agreed. I didn't like that period at all for us. We played much better in the first even though we got out shot.

Preds start off hot. Lots of pressure. Early PPG (great play by Wilson, great shot by Smith), then a fluky tipped goal (medium-hard shot from Hannan deflects off Bourque). Jakub Kindl goes all Marty Erat and goes to the box 3 times...PP gets sloppy, Blum gets his pocket picked by Datsuck and Cleary scores a shorty. Rest of period a little sloppy and hectic.

Preds have a bad start to the second, but Rinne saves everyone's ass because he wants a steak dinner. Offense and defense start to get their legs under them. Decent chances at both ends, no scoring.


Tootoo's reception (I'm not at the game, of course)...decently loud boos on his first shift. Not a whole lot since...just a smattering of boos. I do not know of any chants.
