There's no doubt he did it on purpose. Huge play on his part. Eller's drop pass was kind of weak but Galchenyuk was still able to turn it into a scoring play.

he seems to understand the puck almost like a soccer player understands a soccer ball, he has a 'first touch' with it, something unique that puts him on another level IMO.

he makes two touches on the puck, one to get it over Callahan's pokecheck, the next to 'pass' it to Prust, before potting it top shelf to finish it off

Kinda really OT, but Nazem Kadri just tried fighting Victor Hedman.

lol, I actually wasn't really paying attention (had to do something quickly) and when I looked, I thought it hit the post. Then I saw Price in the celebration and thought I missed Price score.

Ryan White took an important face off (and won) in the dieing minutes of the 3rd.

Therrien is no Jacques Martin. He will actually reward the right players.

Winning ugly on the road seems to be the recipe. I would rather see end to end action myself, but maybe they wouldn't win that way.

Seriously, I've been thinking that too. Making close to the league average? This guy is a game changer, and a locker room changer I think. Great opening move by MB. Can't wait to see his first NHL deal.

Not only did he win the draw, but he was huge along the boards after to make sure the puck went out of the zone.
