That, in itself......... well you get it.
Calder cups aren't won playing 12 minutes/game.
But Plekanec for Selke is interesting. If the habs continue to win,
Therrien for Jack Adams?

Why do people even bring it up? It should stop being funny when you're a teen.
Because people believe there is, not just fans but also the players. Has nothing to do with age.
Just imagine 5 years ago, Habs vs. Rangers. 5-0.. and let's imagine Gomez say: "So guys.. where do we go to celebrate our victory?" You think his teammates will like that?

There is no such thing as a jinx, it is equivalent to believing in Santa Claus.
Your gomez example is a non-example.

Has are the most improved team, so Therein is a good candidate imo.
Kirk muller and Bruce boudreau are also sensible choices.

I think both players have a good shot at the respective awards.

Maybe Jinx's exist, but aren't as serious as you are taking this.

I can see Mueller, although he may be getting derailed by injuries.
Who is Boudreau coaching?

As simply a joke, it gets stale after thousands of trials
Rosso implies some players believe in jinxes ... I hope not ... They would then believe in the tooth fairy too.

Jinx is a kind of superstition and we all know lot of players are extremely superstitious.
It's not a science but its still something a lot of people believes in.

You see a lot less of that now, but at one time many NHL players
could have used a good tooth-fairy.

It makes sense on a personal level because performance correlates with attitude and expectations.
But players do not read this board :-)

This is a jinx thread but Galchenyuk, Price, Gallagher, et al. are beyond jinx threads. This ain't Theo or Latendresse. These kids are safe as vaults.

Well, if we get the President's Trophy, does it help sway the voters.

Galchenyuk for calder would be sweet. Price for Vezina - wicked if it happens.

I think Price is playing like a Vezina, he looks very good out there. Chuckie needs to overcome Desharnais to have a shot at the Calder imo and it might just happen in the 2nd half.
