MDZ with a Keith like pass to Stepan. I would love to get this guy along with a top prospect for ROR.

The passing on that PPG was a thing a beauty.
I'd be okay with MDZ and Miller/Kreider as a return for O'Reilly, preferably Miller. But I doubt it'll happen.

Watching the Rangers Habs game. Del Zotto doesn't look great, but he looks ok. Miller on the other hand looks good.
Del Zotto seems too passive in the defensive zone. But he has made some good defensive plays breaking up passing lanes. He isn't afraid of throwing his weight around. He has been playing on the RH side tonight.

I think it's because he is so slow over the first steps. He basically retreats to the front of the net instead of getting to 50/50 pucks.

Exactly right. Which is a bad trait that EJ has in the defensive zone. He retreats to the front of the net as well.

Hossa imposing his will on the Canucks D. Soon Landy will be making moves like that.

Duchene is already making moves like that. When Landy starts doing it too, look out.
Maybe the Canucks should've started their back up tonight.

Lundqvist on Habs: "It’s a game of patience...They play extremely boring, but they’re a smart team and they didn’t give up much."
This said after Rangers tried to basically play an away game in MSG against a team that's playing a back-to-back and third game in four nights. The Rangers got out-Rangered.

Lundqvist is allowed to say what ever he wants.
VIDEO
I'd like to see this from Stastny.

Always liked Hansen...but that looked so intentional. Ugh. Sucks to see Hossa out.

Never really liked Hansen, but thought that was probably accidental (if extremely reckless).
Hope Hossa's not hurt bad.

I fell asleep to that game somewhere in the 2nd. Missed the Hossa injury. As if he needs more head problems. As for the hit itself, I can't see how that was an accident. At the very least it was reckless to the point of Hansen needing some time to sit and think about where his arm goes in a hockey game.

Just came here to say that. Hire him immediately.
Too bad for Ruff but that man had a good run, and took some iffy teams on successful runs. Good coach. Shouldn't have a problem finding a new job.

I'd definitely take Ruff over Sacco.
