Definitely heart-stopping. And I'm sure just as frustrating on your end as ours.

Your forecheck owned us. Your D let you down.

Well this game ended up being Datsyuk vs. Predators.

Can we have Trotz please? Babcock has completely lost his mind.

Can't agree more lol it's hard to defend in overtime when you check a Predator into your own teammate.

Hope saturday is as entertaining as tonight was, I'd rather be on the other side of the win next time though

decent game by the boys. go ahead and eat some crow and surprised we scored 4. maybe the offense can finally get going. i think alot rides how weber is doing offensively too. love that tootoo scored.

had to work so couldn't go but could someone post a video of the tootoo tribute or at least explain it? wish i could have seen it!

Agreed. He did his time here and earned his UFA. I'll boo him as a Wing, but I certainly don't hate him. I would've cheered for the video, though.

Much like Joel Ward, he became too expensive for his role.

Hahaha holy ****; while it sucks we gave them a point, that game was absolutely awesome. Datsyuk is un-freaking-believable. He had three plays where I just sat back in my chair and was actually smiling. I don't even think I was mad on his equalizer goal; frankly, I think I was just happy to see the Wizard work some magic live. 1v4? No problem.

And did anyone else watch the post-game celebrations several times? Everyone on the team is so f-ing happy after Weber scores; like playoff winning goal happy. Man I love this hockey team.

It looks like our play is finally becoming more "normal", if you will.

We are now scoring goals and giving some up, too- it was just a matter of time, I guess, because there was just no way our early season horrible offense/perfect defense was going to continue.

Think about this- it is hard to believe, but there are only FIVE teams in the NHL with more points than we have- granted we have played more games than most teams, but still, given all the struggles we have had, you've got to be pretty pleased with where we are right now, standings-wise

Just got home, great win for the Preds! Driving home after a win makes the 120 mile drive go a little quicker!

I also stood and clapped the whole tribute. Glad he acknowledged the crowd too. Suter's treatment will be much worse.

I was telling the wife tonight that I think it would be hilarious if all the fans didn't utter a peep during the $uter tribute...everybody in their seats, just listening to crickets. Course it'll never happen.

Yeah, show him scoring own goals for the Ducks 2 seasons ago.

While I share your sentiment, the club will do a tribute. It would be kind of classless if they didn't. Gonna be very interesting how the fans react. Personally, I'll probably do what I wrote earlier - just sit on my hands and not acknowledge him at all. Either that, or do the ol' newspaper schtick and bring a section of the Tennessean to read. Now that I think of it, I wish I'd have kept the edition that reported the signing of Weber to use.

Personally, I think we should cut out the tributes. I understand why they do them, but as the franchise grows you'll start to see more and more players get treated the way I expect Suter to get treated. At a certain point, you aren't honoring the players anymore.

I'll likely try to get a Weber's better chant going during the Suter video. So, that should be fun.

Sorry, but have to disagree. Do you really think Poile and ownership, after seeing Suter basically hold this team hostage his last year, would actually allow a tribute video to be produced and shown when he comes back? This isn't a Sullivan situation; Poile sees Suter as a player who lied to him and bolted to Minny and Liarpold rather than finish his career playing with one of the best D-men in the league.

No way does Suter get a video. The only thing he will get is a cascade of boos every time he touches the puck.

We've seen our boys get burned the last few games after losing the puck behind the net. Blum loses the puck, it gets to Cleary alone out front, goal Detroit. Weber loses the puck to Duchene behind the net at Colorado, goes to McGinn alone out front, goal Avs. Beleskey's goal didn't involve the Ducks taking the puck from us behind then net, just Perry setting up back there alone to feed the puck out front for a goal.

Three games in a row with the puck coming out from behind the net, to a teammate, straight into the twine. It is becoming a disturbing trend.
