If they play like they did against the Islanders on a more consistent basis then they can beat any team in the league and definitely get into the playoffs.

Right, I knew that. But the key wording of the rule is "back into" the defending zone. Well Colorado never had possession in their zone, so it wouldn't be going "back into" the zone on that play , technically. So that rule wouldn't apply, which is why I'm asking about the lineman's lame excuse.

I cant see every team playing like the Isles did. The Flyers played well but the Isles effort was diplorable.

I like the optimism haha. Especially the 31-0-0 record.

I agree with gonefullholmgren, this team has not put up that kind of effort all year, and they did it against a team that didn't look like they wanted to play... We play teams like the Pens and Devils who no matter what will give the effort, unlike a young Islanders team.

Ryan Miller calls his team out like Giroux did, and then gives a goal up in the first minute of the game against Winnipeg. That team is a mess right now.

So Tyler Myers low ball offer?
But seriously that team shouldn't be performing that bad. Ruff might need to go.

Vanek+Myers for Shelly and a 3rd. That's fair with how they are playing right now. Vanek was bad on the first goal though, just let Little lose in the slot.

Ruff is probably out, but I would say at the end of the season. It's difficult to fire a coach in a shortened season after a lockout. So many variables to take into consideration.

Did you see the Datsyuk goal vs NSH? He humiliated 6 Predators in one play. Chris Hansen needs an hour tv special to do that!
That was the best tweet of the day right there.

From another forum, it's so great reading Rangers fans bash Brad Richards. They've been hating pretty good on the guy so far this season.

He's on my Flyers Forum fantasy team. I'm disgruntled at him.

On second thought, let's not get O'Reilly. The team might almost let him die in a tub and Scott Stevens will probably blast his brain apart in a decade.

Richards and MDZ are taking a ton of heat from Ranger fans.

And then they'll turn it around when it's needed and everything shall be forgotten. I thought del Zotto actually played well in the two games against the Flyers, though.

I guess he was complaining about a missed icing call last night which lead to him leaving Pacioretty open for the tying goal. del Zotto is still a good young defenseman. I would take him on the Flyers.

It's awesome seeing a goalie come straight from Europe and doing well without having to go through the AHL ********

Amazing that Ruff lasted so long, honestly. A new coach for the Sabres will do them some good; a change of location for Ruff will do him some good, as well.
