Feh. My 16GB micro SD card on my phone decided to crap out. I have a 4GB spare from my old Blackberry, so I'm good for a bit. Need to copy my music over again.

1) Metropolitan

4) Tavern United downtown

Used to be 4Play. Disappointed that it closed, but the Met is an ok replacement.

Fox and Fiddle is a pretty good place. Calling it a pub is a bit of a joke, it's more like an Exchange District bar dressed up as a sports bar. Their wings are amazing though. Never really cared for Tavern, IMO the food is subpar and the layout isn't great. I know my brother is a fan of The Cheer in the Village, the few times I've been there for Jets games it seemed alright.

First unveiling of the Playstation 4 tomorrow.

I've stayed with xbox and xbox360 for my last 2 systems, but I'm interested to hear what Sony has in store. Microsoft seems way too into making Kinect a thing, which if it's true may just be enough to get me to go back to Sony.

Either way, should be interesting tomorrow.

My Vancouver connection has nothing to do with Winnipeg. I lived in Vancouver for 10 years from 5-15 and developed my love for hockey during the Bure/Linden/McLean era. Was never a Jets 1.0 fan.

If Sony includes backwards compatibility back through PS2 I'd go back to them. Was never able to pick up the backwards compatible PS3 because it was so limited (Gears of War edition only?) and I refused to pay a premium for a system. So I switched to XBox. Whatever the new platforms are, I'll go with whatever will support my older games.

I've never been there, but a coworker of mine said there is a place called Hat Tricks on Portage that has a tonne of screens, and has red lights go off when the Jets score.

Hey, don't knock it. A job's a job. I worked at Burger King for a while before I moved up in the world. Sometimes I miss it because I could craft my own burgers and take them home.

Thanks for the reminder! I love the American Big Brother. I am interested in seeing what the Canadian version will be like. I have a feeling not as good, but we'll see.

My opinion of you two just tumbled farther then Hartnell on a breakaway.

You have some serious work to do

eeek. I try and avoid reality tv like the plague, but my gf loves those gold shows on discovery so i generally have to deal with that in the background.

I watch mythbusters...i guess that's "reality" tv...

Only show i actually watch these days is Walking Dead...probably follow dexter and breaking bad once they're back up.

otherwise its pretty much just hockey and netflix.

That woman I swear is a genetic mix of Jennifer Aniston and Barbara Streisand.

I lol everytime I see that promo. There's one point where it looks like she was just concussed and has no idea where she is

That's how most people get into it. My mom loathed the idea of watching it, but I got her to watch BB8 and she hasn't missed an episode since.

I can confirm. Was there last night and the food was good but took quite some time. Good wings and good service. The two gms are usually there on game night and take real good care of their customers. Goal lights are incredibly loud, its awesome.

The Walking Dead is the only show I'm currently watching. Will pick up on a few other AMC series' when they come back around, but that's really all I watch. Reality TV kills me. I get the appeal, it's like seeing a car wreck you can't turn away from, but I swear it makes people more stupid with each passing moment.
