I've probably added 20 lbs (of non-muscle) since this past summer. I'm slowly getting back into soccer, but honestly I have 0 motivation to do it.

It's one of the very limited positives of the imminent departure of the tyke again for a few weeks - I actually have time to work out.

Pick up a kettlebell of a decent size, or a couple sized. Do swings 3 times a week, maybe 75-100 reps. That alone will be really good for you.

EDIT: Also, I like Chef's too. Haters gonna hate.

I'm aware of that, but it seems like a bit dark for even b_g.

Eastern Hills used to be my favorite mall, primarily because nobody's ever there. It's got that classic '90's mall feel to it that I like, even if the stores there suck.

Food court?

Sadly--and this is coming from a vegetarian--Duff's might be the best choice there.

I feel like, if I ever want to play a "Zombie Apocalypse" prank on a drunken/passed out friend, I'd just drop them off in the Eastern Hills mall. Waking up in a shopping mall in the middle of the day that's completely empty would definitely freak some people out.

Yeah Duff's is the best choice but not an option today.

It is a great place to take a toddler though. Quiet food court, easy to let her roam around and a pet store with lots of "keetees"!

Depends on the weight. Probably $20-50 on average.

Today was some balance exercises, then strength was bench press, 65/45/35 body weight. WoD was 50 pushups / 10 KB swings , 40/20, etc, to 10/50, in 15 minutes.

I didn't finish, but I left it all on the table. Didn't have a good post workout feel, felt kinda sick for a couple hours, but I attribute that to not having done this in so long.

In related news, the ladyfriend and I talked a bit last night, and she's going to start coming to CF with me again in a week or so once another class finishes, and I'm going to start going to a spin class with her once a week too. Hopefully that's a good sign from the relationship angle, but at worst it's a workout buddy. (Who is more badass than me by a LONG shot.)
Awesome!

Now you gotta keep the ball rolling!

I tend to have rubber legs and burned out lungs after a good day at the box.

I do a lot of those swings. While it's a great long chain exercise and works all sorts of muscles around one's middle, it does not guarantee removal of one's spare tire. If it did, I would be tireless and that hasn't happened.

The bigger key to getting lean is diet.

Like the cliche says, you can't outtrain a bad diet.
