You all knew this was coming with the news of Viktor Fasth signing an extension today. I expect the Ducks to keep both goalies for the remainder of this season. What would Hiller be worth to your team, at the draft, with one year remaining at $4.5MM?
Now that Viktor Fasth has gotten his 2 year 5.8 million dollar contract you can expect the rumors of a Hiller trade to kick into high gear and with Dave Nonis going on TSN radio and flat out saying he wants a vet goalie Toronto will likely be the primary team in those rumors.

Seriously, why would the Leafs do this? They have two goalies who have been playing very well, and are on good contracts.
He played really well the other night. Overall though, how do you justify it? Scrivens let in a couple last night where I shook my head but so do most others. Reimer has been really good for the most part. Hiller just has some question marks on where his game really is.
I wouldnt be against it in theory but I definitely wouldnt give up much. I do however support acquiring Hiller much more than Luongo, simply due to his contract.

Hiller has been injury prone and he is 30 now. So it might be hard to get a 1st from another team, especially in this coming draft. I would say a 2nd + Neuvirth.

We have a goalie who stands on his head when we play him, the problem is he gets injured WAY too much. I'm just not sure coughing up value for Hiller is the right thing to do at this point.. Don't act like you can't see it.

How is he injury prone? He had 1 freak injury which ruined his Vezina season. Last year he played 73 games
