Agreed. Boring snooze fest. I'm not unhappy with the result, but that was anything but exciting to watch...

Is it fair to say the Flames are... lost in the desert?

Great game by Torres. I'll make sure to tune in about 15 games from now when he has another one.

I feel bad for the Flames. Their best goaltender is injured, and their best prospects are both injured.

You know that the east is week when a team like Toronto is in a playoff position. Any team below .500 in that conference should bow their heads in shame.

NHL fines MIN's Devin Setoguchi $8,108.11. In other news, I'm 1 for 1 on Roll Up The Rim. Free coffee, or in my case, tea. It's a good day

Very odd number for a fine.

I like that they raised the fine max to 10k but that is an odd number maybe it's the amount he'd lose if he was suspended for a game or two

So Malkin finishes third in points this year in the KHL. Not sure how far off he was from the top, but it would've been assume if he could've won the scoring title in both the KHL-NHL this year.

I love seeing a well coached club. What grabbing and clutching? It was smart positional play, making sensible plays, keeping puck downlow. The 3rd period the Yotes put on a clinic in where to move the puck in opposition zone.

Being that is was happening against the Calgary Flames I had no problem with it.

Could've gotten one tonight if not for timely interference.

But yeah, I've said it all year, the West is just too tight for the Oilers to crack the top 8.

Figure that we might as well track this:

The Senators are 2-1 so far since the Karlsson injury.

Really don't know what to say on the Hossa injury. Not like Hansen is a dirty player.

I guess no matter what some fan base is going to be screaming murder on this one.

Couldv'e gotten 2 points if Hall didn't pull his best Scott Ferguson impression on his break away too.

Lindy Ruff has been fired in Buffalo per various twitter sources.

Cue the fire Krueger threads.

End of an era: There were 170 NHL coaching changes from the time Lindy Ruff was hired by the #sabres in July 1997 and fired today.

Not shocking. That team is to good to be doing this poorly. Guys have been getting benched, Kaleta playing 2nd line. It was only a matter of time.

Are you suggesting he should have been on the 1st?

Also what's the deal with Miller? This d-bag has become a real prima-dona ever since Lucic ran him.

Lol, I'm suggesting when Stafford is on your 4th and Kaleta on the 2nd line you are obviously trying everything and anything.

As for Miller who knows. I've always found him to be very overrated. Had one elite year and all else was forgotten. Now he's back to his averages and people think he's playing bad.
