Seabrook is out with the worst of the worst lower body injuries you could ever get...bruised junk, thanks to a Doughty slapshot. I seriously don't know how he was able to play the rest of the game.

I've just always loved their style, the way they play, and they've had quite a few of my favorite players around the league, especially Gagne and Richards - I followed their careers closely long before they wore a Kings sweater.

Minnesota is a team I can find no hate for. They have a good team, probably the best fanbase, and just so much enthusiasm for the sport. There is no superiority complex, they just love their hockey. I was pretty happy for them when they got Suter and Parise during the offseason. If any team in the league deserved a gift like that, it was them.

I would suspect you are right about the Leafs putting you in the minority though. I don't really have any hate for the team, just the atmosphere surrounding them. Doesn't come close to the measure of which I hate the Canucks by though. Nothing but pure hate there. I dislike the Ducks, but that pales in comparison for what I feel for the Canucks.

Sabres fire Ruff

That's it.

They fired Ruff.

Replaced him with Rolston interim.

Darcy Regier announced this afternoon that Lindy Ruff has been relieved of his duties as head coach of the Buffalo Sabres. More to follow.

Yep but it was time. The Sabres had to do something and Ruff has had his chance. New owner wants results.

Rolston would be a great hire. Was coach at the NTDP when alot of the great young American talent currently in the league came through Ann Arbor. Very well liked respected. Hope he gets the full time gig.

So Clinton was president when Ruff was hired.

And Chelios was 35 years old.

Crosby was 10.

Is the league delaying the Hansen suspension announcement so the Vancouver police can dress in their riot gear?

Pittsburgh has so many players on their team that are easy to hate.

Other than Cooke I think I hate Letang the most. He's always crying about something.

Crosby doesn't normally make mistakes like that.

So Clune pays a big fine for a bad hit

Rich Clune fined $1,452.70 for boarding
http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=656628

This is the last snipe I swear but how about that Rich Clune then heh?

They fined him just about $1,500 bucks or exactly the amount of money that it would take for me to give a darn.

Thats gotta.......hurt?

I hate the amount of flailing bodies during a Pens/Flyers game. It seems like both teams ramp up the diving when they play each other.

Milbury just compared Crosby and Malkin to crack addicts during the intermission. How does he even still have a job with NBC?

You mean that game wasn't entertaining? I don't understand fans who like these kind of games. "lets just half ass everything"

Both goalies were terrible. Wow - that's some sloppy hockey.

On last goal scored on Bryz, I'll NEVER understand why so many goalies crouch down and put the paddle of their stick on the ice.... and then watch the skater with the puck skate around their stick... why not stay standing and throw your stick (poke check) at the puck?

You have a clear shot at the puck and the skater has few options. By staying back and crouching/kneeling, you give the shooter waaay too much room for no reason.
