Exactly. Plus, aren't we at our contract limit?

Ms. Treena is on a tweeting spree tonight.

We have two open spots.

We're at 50, but Musil and Klefbom's contracts slide.

You know this is BUNK when the leafs have to manny blue liners to deal with, (Komosarek and Liles healthy scratches last 2 games) and Gardiner in the AHL

Based on the fact he is quite obviously a better player..? He is now and he still has more potential. Have you watched him play? The Flyers were on TSN2 just now, he killed a minute and a half of a 5-3 with Crosby and Malkin on the ice and he was a threat on the power play just a few shifts before.

If you think Gagner is better than Couturier, then, well, yeah.

Courturier is a nice prospect but he is not worth Eberle or Yak, lets be sensible here please. Gagner, Klefbom and a 2nd, talk about over paying for hype.

How is it quite obvious, Couturier is the better two way player, but Gagner has more over all skill. Gagner is also getting better in his two way game.

Hype? You have to give to get. How many 6'4, physical centers exist in the league right now? Okay now how many of them are the go to guy on a 5 on 3 penalty kill and an option on the power play. Not many? How many of them are 20 years old?

There's a reason this guy was projected to go first overall in the 2011 draft.

For Couturier you have to remember he was the #1 for quite a while leading up to the draft. IMO he shouldn't have fallen as far as he did. Philly definitely stole one there.

I'd deal Gagner + for Couturier but there's no way in hell that I deal Eberle or Yakupov for him unless there's a hefty + coming back with him.

Yes. Philly has already turned down Couturier for Bobby Ryan, and rumor is that Colorado is asking (no kidding) for SC for ROR.

Out of curiosity, what players around the league would you guys move Yak or Eberle for straight up?

I'd trade Yakupov for Couturier right now, no questions asked.

Probably get lynched now.

Have to be a highly-skilled young player like Couturier, Benn, d-men like Pietrangelo. Not too many players I'd go straight up.

Malkin, Pietrangelo, Karlsson, Crosby, no one else in the league in a 1 for 1 trade.

You wouldn't trade Eberle or Yak for Weber, Doughty, Karlsson?

I disagree. Yakupov is a game breaker, Couturier is not.

Forgot about Karlsson, I think Doughty and Weber are both overpaid. Although I would think long and hard on Doughty simply because he would look great here.

I'm not really sure what you mean by that? The fact of the matter is Couturier is exactly the type of player we need. A big, physical, 2 way center who can be an option on the PK and PP? What does it mean not to be a game breaker?

Giroux, Stamkos, OEL?

I like these players, but I think we're overrating them a little.
