he's GOTTA get up ... i hate killing him for that goal, because it makes it look like i'm saying he had a horrible game ... he did not.

just one terrible goal against.

shame for him ... shame for us
He should gotten up. but at the same time everyone is standing around letting the Habs take 37 wacks at the puck before they finally knocked it in.

no argument there, mostly .... the 1st attempt was blocked .... only one more attempt came from that play.

you could see he was gonna get up, but changed his mind, anticipating a shot coming at him sooner than it did. even so, it might have hit him as he was getting up. as it was, he had a far smaller chance of snaring the eventual shot.

he was OK, just a shame the way the 3rd went in.

It's not in reference to anyone's post its just a simple fact. Myself included complained about leights. I agree the 3rd goal was horrid no reason for him to still be sitting down. I just don't get how people will sit and bash boosh after that outing. His number were average/just below average much better than a lot of people thought. Yet since we never have good goal tending everyone complains of efforts that don't result in a shutout.

He let in two bad goals. One was plain weak, the other was frustratingly weak. My problem with the third goal wasn't that he wasn't able to get up in time, because nobody is that fast that they get off their ass and into a stance in a half a second. My problem is that he's so technically awful that he actually ends up on his ass there in the first place. Nobody touched him! The man has no balance moving into and out of his butterfly. And his technical crappiness makes him effectively much slower than he already is. I get so frustrated watching him because he sucks in ways a ten year veteran has no business sucking.

He's so bad. Just really, really ****ing bad . . . How does this guy keep getting NHL jobs? I'll say the same thing I said about Leighton, there are guys in the NCAA who are better than this. There are certainly guys in the AHL better than that. Yet somehow this guy keeps ending up in the net for the Flyers . . . I don't get it.

Agreed. The netminding has been fine while everything else has been utter slop.

there were some real testers in there, especially the 1st period. just cause he only saw 19 shots doesn't mean he wasn't tested. i thought he had a really great game.

Bryz wasn't as bad as it could of been. Those penalties at the end almost doomed the Flyers.

I had serious issues with the Kennedy and Sutter goals. Especially the Sutter goal, Coburn ****ed up on that play, but he can't score there.

i can't let this one slide. you have no idea what your watching. your just lookin at how many goals were scored and i assume you have a number in your head and if it goes over that number (what, 2 or 3 goals?) than he had a bad game. if anything i thought this game would've shut the people up who complained last year about how the playoff series had such bad goaltending when, in fact, both goalies played good in this game (bryzgalov had harder saves to make) and in that series but both of these teams play insanely explosive and offensively aggressive games together. that was an intense game and if all your doin is lookin at the number of goals then your missin out on how insane and how ramped up this rivalry is. by the way, we won debbie, you know, downer?

Bryz didn't look too bad until those penalties started, so I'm not gonna hold this one against him, it wouldn't have been his fault if they lost anyway, those penalties were inexcusable. Bryz was so relieved at the end there, you could tell he was just like: "Okay, let's get the **** out of pittsburgh."

Like I said, I had problems with two goals. The Kennedy goal, Bryz didn't track the rebound at all, and was stunned when Kennedy got the puck. And the Sutter goal can't happen. The Flyers just got finished killing off those penalties, and then Bryz lets Sutter out muscle him on a wrap.

The other three goals, meh, he couldn't do much.
