Also, after tonight's game, you can see the Pens defense is no better than last years.

Even if we don't face the Pens in the Playoffs, other teams must take notes on how we play against. Raw emotion is the key to beating Crosby, Dirty Malkin, Letang, and Dirty Neal.

Awesome win but the 4min PP we had pissed me off. Way too nonchalant, I knew it was going to come back and bite them in the ass. Thankfully they pulled it out.

I really don't see any reason to keep dressing Knuble. Do you guys agree or am I missing something? All he ever does is get penalties.

mostly because they didn't know how much time was left on the PP and didn't want to get caught..

LOL at the "error", what a joke.

The Couturier, Coburn, and Grossmann PK was fantastic.

It makes as much sense as scratching McGinn

Couturier finished with 22 minutes of ice time. Gus played almost 16 and a half would've had more but for all the penalties late in the 3rd. I thought he was pretty good

Wanted to comment on Couturier. Seriously havent seen him dominate in a game like that since last season. Best game EASILY this season.

If Read is absent tomorrow night, it is almost necessary to keep Knuble unless Sestito and McGinn are added. Otherwise, the loss of Read tonight likely changed roles of players with the team one man short. Coming off the 7-0 win, it wasn't shocking that lineups stayed the same.

I completely agree, and he takes them at the worst time as well, as soon as Hartnell is back I hope he's a scratch.

Anyone else think the NHL needs to seriously reconsider High Sticking penalties? Double minors for drawing blood almost ruined this game for both sides.

I think the double minor needs to go along the lines of a 5 minute major for boarding call, in that if the ref feels the high sticking was done intentionally or severely injures a player (not just a nick or small cut), than a double minor could be called.

The double minor when a little blood gets drawn pisses me off more than anything in this league.

So, tonight's GDT song...
The first line is "It starts out like a murmur. Then it grows like thunder..." Emblematic of the road trip. And then the album is titled Coda which means a musical conclusion.

C’était un soir la bataille des hot-chickens Chickens!
Il fallait voir les Cavaliers Chargés Chargés!
Cavaliers! Cavaliers! Cavaliers! Chargés!

The Irishman found a bar that both, had the game on and who's barred list his name was not inscribed upon.

Jake the Snake Baby! Short Arm Clothesline!
