If we move to Quebec we very likely lose all of Maloney, Tippett, Burke, Doan, Smith and Morris.

If we move to Seattle we might just keep all six.

Let's go Seattle!

At least that would make my decision on whether to follow the team or not extremely easy.

When we move, I am buying a jersey of the re-branded Coyotes, or whatever they will be re-named to.

Agreed. Nothing against Quebec but I would not be a fan.

I would buy a Sharks jersey asap if we move. GF is from the area and i've spent a ton of time there in my life traveling and may be residing in the area.

It's not that people don't want the team to stay. It's more that there have been too many "it's a done deal" deals that fall apart at the deadline. I think people are just trying to prepare for the team leaving, it's easier than being blindsided at the announcement. I'm sure most fans, if there were anything they could too to make a difference' would do so. But that time has passed, I think.

No give up here! Attendance up 27%, TV rating up 150%, Coyotes continue to play well. I still believe they're staying until the NHL tells me otherwise.

My belief that the Coyotes leaving is inevitable isn't going to deter me from attending games or following the team at least. I would rather be pleasantly surprised than bitterly disappointed though.

The only thing in our favor right now is the Law of Inertia. Of course, that has worked 4 years in a row now...and for all the likely destinations, the league (if not the potential fanbases) would rather wait until new arenas are finished. I get that impression anyway - that the NHL doesn't really want to play in Key Arena (Seattle), Copps (Hamilton), Colisee Pepsi (QC). It would not surprise me at all if we get 2 more years in Arizona until QC's ready.

That's kind of what I figure. Until they have someplace to land and get going quickly, they'll leave them here. So we may get another year or two. But I also find myself not being as gung ho about seeing EVERY game or going to events as I was before.

Wait, whhut? Have you given up on becoming a Hollywood Ac-tor already???

To the Johnny Couch soldiers out there:
Remember when the city of Glendale was offering to pay someone $308 million to buy the Coyotes and manage the Arena?

And in case Greg Jamison or Darryl Jones or Jerry Reinsdorf or Matt Hulsizer are wondering if he can get the same deal out of the COG, the mayor has a message for him:

and finally this

I really dont have any hope of the team staying. I have come to terms with it. It's a lot easier for me than most of you considering i havent lived in arizona for the past 2 1/2 years. I have watched all the games via internet streams so nothing will change for me.. Sad truth

It's tough because our chances seems to be like slim to none... only fool would believe that the things will still turn our way... but that's what we are all about, isn't it? I mean Coyotes against the world... that was the only time we ever had success...

For me, if asking, it was better than necessary when Jamison pushed his purchase to the edge of finishing his deal... you know... best deal from Glendale... it was thought that he had a money... that's simply not the way we are winning...

We need the right guy like we are... rich guy who believe in this organization and will try what rest of us do... guy, who knows what 'us against the world' means...

keep faith...

Future forcast:

-Yotes move to Seattle in Summer 2013 which keeps team out West and moves Denver to Pacific and Yotes to Northwest division.

-In 2022 the City of Phoenix looks to possibly replace or renovate to improve sightlines on 30 year old arena downtown. NHL ownership group gets expansion team and names them Yotes.

-Or, 2020 Talking Stick Scottsdale becomes so big they decide to build arena for concerts and shows as well as housing an NHL franchise across highway from Salt River fields.

New proposed alignment is a tip of the hat to Seattle/Portland.

I been wondering if any of you guys have any faith left. Most of the main board talk is "matter-of-fact" like they would bet their balls the Yotes are gone at the end of the season. I keep hoping not. I don't get out to much games lately due to work schedule and finances. Hopefully soon... want to while I can, we went to quite a few last year but didn't get out here till March. I think we went to maybe 4 in the first 3 and a half weeks after we got here, its a lot of fun. I really don't want to live somewhere without NHL. I've always like the Yotes, even before I moved here, so now living so close has been a real treat. Anyway, it may not be smart but I still have some hope they'll stick around.

I've lost faith and haven't gone to West valley since Jamison's deadline has passed. I have no plans on doing so either. I watch from home, but still get excited when they score, and still feel upset when they lose.

Just don't feel like investing any more money into the team. Just been spending the money on car parts, and well, in the end I'm still happy.

I just want this done one way or another. If that means someone else gets my favorite team, so be it. Just treat it the way I did.
